Let it be known at the outset that we are not medical doctors, and we do not do anything to your hearing to correct it. Rather, we are sound specialists, and we warp the spectrum of sound in such a way as to permit people with some common hearing deficiencies to better hear the sound as it was meant to be heard.
None of our technology is invasive, nor does it come in direct contact with your body. We do not provide audiological examinations. For help with deciding whether or not this technology is appropriate for you, you should seek professional audiology and medical advice.

nuffy, great career awaits for you in some consumer protection organization.
You've got the hound's determination and enjoy going after people. Not to mention the deception.
You're wasting your talents here proving that dsp programmers aren't medical practitioners.

I think their free plug sounded rather okay, but I will never ever buy a $1500 plug.
Even if I win $1.000.000 on Lotto.

By the way, I posted that quote from RAL because, to me, it looks like nuffinks enquiries rattled them, the language of it (and the rest of their site) just doesn't seem very convincing to me - hence the rolling eyes, which was aimed at RAL.
I'm not sure, but they look like scam artists to me.

Yep. They're attempting to gouge the hearing impaired. And, judging by the fanboy action in this thread, the thinking impaired.Samb wrote:By the way, I posted that quote from RAL because, to me, it looks like nuffinks enquiries rattled them, the language of it (and the rest of their site) just doesn't seem very convincing to me - hence the rolling eyes, which was aimed at RAL.

Yep. I tested the eq (the process you skipped entirely) and liked it. I'm not interested in buying hearing aid from them so I don't care about their medical background.nuffink wrote:Yep. You are mentally impaired if the process you demonstrated here is your usual way to test EQ.

The medical issues don't worry me at all. Instead their receptor combos are called system x000, too much like tc systems for my liking. They also had screen grabs of prototypes that looked like tassman. All that is gone now. Who knows, overzelous nuffy might be onto something. We need somebody knowledgeable to listen to the eq.

You should be more careful with you words, sir. Or I might think you meant everybody who likes the sound of this eq.nuffink wrote:
