I don't know actually. There's nothing on our end for this update, it's all the developers in Italy doing their thing but... they sure are working fast with these free UB and stand alone updates! It could be soon!brotherone wrote:So how will the Miroslav update look like?
Is it just a download of the engine or will there be new sound disks?
I'm asking this because ST2.2 tells me if I want to load Philharmonik sounds, that I have to update my Miroslav sound content from version 1.0 to 1.1.![]()
Best regards
What about studiophonik?

Sounds good!
Squids, I saw your interview on the new website www.iksounds.com and your pictures with Genesis.
It's really cool that Tony Banks is using Sonik Synth2
So will they play "Supper's ready" on the upcoming tour?
Best regards

coule be like it was for the switch from ST1 to ST2. SR provided new patches for the owners of their ExpansionTanks, like their Omnisynth and then we were able to load then in ST2.brotherone wrote:So how will the Miroslav update look like?

Yeah, that's possible, but then Squids should know something about it

Will they play Supper's Ready? I don't know. Would I love it if they did? Yes of course! When is the last time they played the whole thing though? I remember they did play about half of it in the 90's though.brotherone wrote:Yeah, that's possible, but then Squids should know something about it
Sorry it isn't my place to say what they have been playing in rehearsals except to back up the general thing they've been saying which is "a little something from each of the albums" more or less. Also, just because they've been rehearsing one thing at one time doesn't mean they won't do something else at another time. So that much more do I really not know for sure. I look forward to seeing the show!

Squidsy...too much German beer
brotherone was saying there that if the update was like from ST1 to ST2 where SR supplied new patches, that you should know about it, which you said you didn't...however, he DID want to know about Supper's Ready as well...
Hoist one for the geek bro...

I just hit the wrong reply to... and yes German beer and jetlag was involved in that!
I just changed my flights around to go visit The Farm again this week. I don't know if Tony will be there but some hang time with Mike now talking about RAW loops, AmpliTube stuff, the refills which he likes and I'll go over anything he wants to know about the workstation bundle. I am really glad they all love our stuff so much and invite me over. It's awesome. It's times like this where I love my weird unusual gig.

I am so tired. Treking around all over the place. I went to The Farm today. I will talk about it some more when I am less tired. I did post a blog about the 5.1 mixes on the SR myspace page though. Other news is that I booked a recording session at The Farm... you know the kind of recording I do.
(the kind that starts with an S).
(no not "Styx".... sampling... jeeeeez! you guys...). Drums with my friends Nick and Nick!
Oh no schnitzel actually. Had a Kebab, fish n chips and a proper English pint though.
