You will of course still be able to use your favourite Orion synths in Ableton, possibly as VST instruments (if Orion lets you) or else simply by rewiring Orion into Ableton.BONES wrote:Do you really think you can get by without WaspXT? You'll find P5 is more similar to orion as far as patterns and the playlist
You'll most likely find yourself wanting to go back to Orion after using it too
I say go for Live

what's wrong about eXT that all these expensive & (imho inferior) apps are being suggested?

renoise is another great tracker. i own both of them. madtracker supports rewirecrimsonwarlock wrote:Krim, just a completely different suggestion: take a look at MadTracker. Nothing beats a tracker for controlability in a pattern format and MadTracker can host VST/VSTi, has a decent mixer and can be rewired into Orion. Best of all you can download it for free (it seems that they have paid options where the software is linked to webspace iirc).

What is the difference between the IL Wasp VSTi and WaspXT inside Orion? Can someone list them? I know that the look was different, but as arke mentioned the look has been updated (not the external one yet though only the one that is FL specific to my knowledge)arke wrote:doesn't matter to me if you buy it or not, just saying that its not different any moreKriminal wrote:nope, its still diff...and it doesnt matter.arke wrote:no no no, not a different beast anymore ... it used to only be Wasp but now with FL6 its WaspXT as wellKriminal wrote:diff beast altogether, and i wouldnt buy from them, as you know.
