Sounds like this is a big part of his guitar sound though. Love the song "Planet Telex", excellent example of the Space Echo in action

No, yesterday I had too much money. Today I'm broke.sonicfire wrote:erm...250 for a phased/flanged delay?some of you guys have too much money. NO WAY .never
Hmmm...people put out way more $$$ for the real one. This is my favorite UAD plug so far, bought it the instant it hit the checkout stand. I still plan on getting the Fulltone TTE at $1000. That makes the 201 seem a bargain. It's the first VST delay that echos properly. I can't stomach (earach?) VST delays to this point. They completely ruin guitars. They decay all wrong. They might be great for synth based dance music, but they suck on instruments.sonicfire wrote:erm...250 for a phased/flanged delay?some of you guys have too much money. NO WAY .never
Again, it depends on how you look at it. Since I play mainly electric guitar and I love the sound a good tape delay gives to my strat it is no more or less expensive than any other pedal I would buy. If you compare it to 90% of the synths I've paid for, I'll be I get more hours use out of it than I will any of those (although it will take a long time to catch Zeta+).dusted william wrote:still spendy though.
