oh don't get thinking you're all bigger.

one day i'll make a gate plugin you'll ALL admit you know about and has the nifty (and isn't f**ked because my world is all screwed up)

then you'll all be sorry then, won't you! hah.

Rurik, I didn't know you made a gate.

:hihi:

Not in love with gate3, what with the clicks and all, but I still have gate1 on hand.

i know there's some kind of unwritten law that says that everybody ever will always ignore any gating plugin i release for eyars and years.

i can release any kind of plugin i want, usually people use them, but not a gate. nobody wants to acknowledge that i release gating plugins.

i do.

they have shuffle.

they also have tempo-synced lfos which produce nice rhythmic effects.

okay?

now i know you'll never see this and i'll just come off as some prat, but it's all a big font joke anyway.

have a nice day, and have a free gating plugin that does stuff you want it to do.

see the shuffle? on the gating plugin?

look at those lfos - yumm!!! yummy yummy!!!

good for stuff!!! mmmm-hmmmm!!!!!!

:hihi:
Wasn't aware of your plugins but I gave a couple of them a shot; namely Gate3 and Gum...f**king awesome shit dude.

:)

my anti-capitalist memetics have kept me out of every english-speaking magazine except sound on sound :p germans, dutch and japanese are tight tho.

and that's why ;)

but since you're finding out about me (...) please check breathcube at http://www.atomictraveller.com - proof of concept for something i'd like to develop further, if i'm ever permitted a space to work with a daw again. the first automatic song-with-lyrics generator.. mildly entertaining, but more something to think about.

It did not show up among the available VST when I put the dll in a temp dir. Then I moved it to the top vstplugins directory.

But then it crashed Cubase while starting up??

---------

AffectedMe looked kind of strange, but sounded cool when tweaking it.

The presets where not very good, IMHO.

Fair enough but you can export presets and banks from AffectedME so if you come up with any nice presets please email them to me and I'll add them in and of course credit you (or anyone else that sends me some :) )

Hmm is the GUI too bright? I may do an alternative skin at some point for it as the plugin itself seems to be quite popular but a few people have commented negatively on the GUI.

The GUI reminds me a bit of some kind of paint book from my childhood.
:hihi: I hope you dont mind me writing that?

It is has great functions, though. And I like it now that my eyes gotten used to it. :hyper:

I see if I can come up with some presets next time I try it out.

  I can see what you mean with the GUI, it is a bit cartoon like.

It would be fantastic to get presets from people and find out what other people are using it for 8)

Hi Caco

It seems like the preset banks I save does not playback the same when I load them again?? :( Tried both internal and external saves.

Should I only save as effects (externally)?

And also when using the auto pan the volume decreases very much. :?

Otherwise does it sound really cool. :tu:

i like your bright gui,but there's usually some that disagree with me.
i'd rather you added a shuffle funtion. :)

Post

scuzzphut6 is a gate with 2 delays , each with a filter and lfo.
it has shuffle
it has been available for 4 years.
it's free.
(it's ugly)

if you'd like something prettier and more powerful, try Electronisounds Ubergate
(it costs $30)
Image

if you'd like something simpler, try scuzzphut6.5-lite
it's free
(it's pretty)
