The skin engine is totally free and text based. You can easily create an own skin with 1000x1000 if you like. Anyway, I doubt that huge size is useful...kmonkey wrote:Those skins are nice but bigger are better when you have big resoultion on screen (like i do).

Maybe it's because of theming in XP, havn't investigated it further. Anyway, you may want to have a download of the latest version. The silent update fixes an issue with resizing. Maybe it has something to do with it.Oliver.Lucas wrote:Any idea why the sikns don't work?

minor things:
- analyser is slow to show first time, then switching on/off is very responsive.
- auto filter still doesnt work in lin/max phase modes.

Wasn't sure if you saw this in the other EQ thread...
First: You are my hero. The Electri-q plug is just too good to be true!! Every now and then there's a little plug that you just love to pieces and Electri-q is one of 'em. TRUELY AMAZING.
There is a bug by the way in the EQ if you use a control surface and tweak the EQ type parameter with a knob. It is very likely to cause a crash. (Probably because you step through the different algos way too fast for the CPU to keep up with?)
Also, the values of the fequencies aren't nice to read out on control surfaces since the values are too long)
Keep up the fantastic work and all the best for the exams.

I saw it, but I'd like to reduce the number of posts there to save some time for my exams. Anyway, have a look at the current version on the server. It could be fixed now. It's always a problem to check it with so many hosts available, but at least I found a test case, where I got a similar error. It could be related. If so, it might be fixed now. Anyway, since there are so many filters available I maybe have to rethink the structure. It would be better only to control the type in a range peak-??shelf-??pass here. But that would be something for version 2.0 I guess.Oliver.Lucas wrote:Wasn't sure if you saw this in the other EQ thread...

The current version on the server does not work well on my system. It takes about 1 minute for the plug in to load and show up. During that time it freezes Nuendo completeley......Christian Budde wrote: Anyway, have a look at the current version on the server. It could be fixed now. I should never try to fix critical things so quick. The latest version on the server has been fixed again. If everything works now, then i'm off learning.Oliver.Lucas wrote:The current version on the server does not work well on my system. It takes about 1 minute for the plug in to load and show up. I should never ever update a plug during a production...
First initial tests indicate: all systems ready to go....

Sorry about that. In 6 years of professional software development I should know it by now, only to make an update when you have tested it in every detail, although the detail seems to be ridiculous.Oliver.Lucas wrote:I should never ever update a plug during a production...Christian Budde wrote: I should never try to fix critical things so quick. Btw. the problem was, that I forgot a single debug message inside the plugins kernel. It's like doctors forgetting the scalpell inside their patient *hustle*
I hope you won't get me paying millions of dollars for this mistake.
Kind regards,
Christian

I just had a closer look to Orion. I've fixed another bug regarding adding/deletation of bands. I put the changes to version 1.5.2beta, which can be downloaded at: http://www.aixcoustic.com/uploads/media ... nstall.zip (ZIP instead of EXE!)mahtazz wrote:Some problems in Orion too.
Still there is the known issue not to use the first preset. I havn't found out why, but I think it is related to the fact, that I did not preload the first bank.
Please report, if there are still some issues (a screenshot send to techsupport[et]AIXcoustic.com would be nice in that case)
Kind regards,
Christian

Glad to tell you that this version doesn't produces APT anymore
But... preset names are all 'User' although sound processing seems ok.

Superb. I know what to do about the problem with the banks, but not right now. You can expect the update for sure, if you decide to become customer.mahtazz wrote:Glad to tell you that this version doesn't produces APT anymore
