Oh, and I have to add that I like the feature of the evolver (and a few other synths) where you can have the step sequencer go one step for each note on...

Since Z2 seems to be the long lost software cousin of the Evolver :hihi:

Sounds like a very good solution, however, one should not underestimate the power of the "save"-button. Save a lot during design and delete the stuff you dont want afterwards. I'd much rather prefer additional filter-models. :)

Yeah, I do the same thing... make lots of versions, then delete them. I think I would also rather have more filter types, or more modules, or an improved arp or a way to copy groups of modules from one preset to another before a history or compare feature

and just to keep perspective on things, if Zebra2 were to never be upgraded again, I would be very happy with it. It is just a great synth as is.
