Oh, and I have to add that I like the feature of the evolver (and a few other synths) where you can have the step sequencer go one step for each note on...

Yeah, I do the same thing... make lots of versions, then delete them. Sounds like a very good solution, however, one should not underestimate the power of the "save"-button. Save a lot during design and delete the stuff you dont want afterwards. I'd much rather prefer additional filter-models.

and just to keep perspective on things, if Zebra2 were to never be upgraded again, I would be very happy with it. It is just a great synth as is.
