here's a summary to all previous posts on this topic:

a. the product is being made by hard core Bollywood composers who have used these loops in their super hit songs
b. there are 4/4 6/8 and 7/8 patterns
c. tempo variations from 75 to 135 bpm
d. rex files enable you to use the product with several supporting softwares. surprisingly no one mentioned Logic Pro or even Reason!
e. 24 bit 48k samples give you a high quality (not available on any other product in this category)
f. loops are not Indian style or classical music. these are Bollywoodish in nature
g. $99 is off the shelf price. would you guys prefer downloading such a product - around 1.5gb in size?

one more question :
what numbers do you see people buying the product off the shelf and online?

That all sounds great -- and I would be willing to download that size file.

I have not read the entire thread (just your summary above  ) so sorry if this has already been talked about -- but I would suggest that you also offer, let's say, 10 rex files for free as a "demo" in addition to audio demos you produce.

For me, I've found it terribly helpful to actually get a few sample files to play with before purchasing. Nine Volt Audio does this, e-Lab have done it (or "eQuipped" or whatever they are called now)... I've seen at least one other company doing that with a rex set, too.

It just gives me incredible confidence to BUY the thing when I've actually had a chance to mess around with a few samples myself in RMX, etc.

Anyway, can't wait to hear what you end up with...

Hi Ads,

I would like to download the stuff if its really good (inspite of having it all) :P

Also, I think that i have heard about this library before somewhere..... someone is already working on it. I guess you knew about it.... don't you?

a download option would be good

and you should consider to make another product with multisampled hits of the instruments,
with some decent midi files,
that would be even better.
or if you supply midifiles for the rex2 loops.
sound is vibration, vibration is life
