But none of those sound as good as Arts Acoustic.

the arts acoustic is great.

I remember liking the rayspace too, but it was high on the cpu at the time. Guess I need to check it out again.
so what

I dunno man, I own RaySpace and it never seems to shine in any application nor am I ever impressed with its sound. One day it might sound good because I just happened to dial in the right settings, other days I have to use a different reverb. :? If you are impressed by its sound then I really want to know why and how. Maybe I'm just not using it correctly. However, I do know that Glass Viper has a perfect reverb IMO. If I could only get RaySpace to sound like Glass Viper I think I'd be pretty satisfied.

I just did some more testing and admit that it's very dependent on the application. For example, having everything mono (ez drummer) and then having the snares routed to verbs reveal rayspace as a very nice sounding unit. However, the cpu is still TOO HIGH!

The art acoustic is very nice but not 140 usd nice  I'll stick with blueverb 2080 which is not the sexiest of the good verbs, but it really sits nice in a mix and is very light on the cpu.

Architeuthis: the reverb in Glass Viper sounds just like RaySpace, which is not surprising because it uses the same algorithms RaySpace does, only it's very limited and not customizable like RaySpace.

I realized this, but because RaySpace is customizeable, I'd need to customize it to the Glass Viper settings. I dunno what the room should look like, for example :)

That's because they've stopped developing it.
