Based on the whole guitar amp fiasco, I can no longer trust that Midiworks will ever deliver on anything. I mean, even if this thing does come out next week, will it continue to be supported afterwards? No offense, but when it comes to spending money I only buy plugins from people I can trust to actually finish things and also be around to support their products in the future.
Same opinion here. I was really interested in the guitar amp, but left the thread after about 200 pages and it seems this thing is not finished yet.
I will watch this thread for a week and wait for a demo, after this period: goodbye and goodnight.

In all seriousness Rene, professionalism counts for a lot and your track record in that department is weak IMO. My honest advice to you is that you should create some amazing plugins, put up a well run website, put out a couple of excellent freebies at first then charge fair prices for your commercial plugins and then most importantly, show that you're really interested in developing and supporting your work over the long term. Do all this while still being as friendly and open about your work as you possibly can be and after a couple of years, you might just convert some of us naysayers. Until then, you're going to have a hard time living down your past around here.
Fair enough, I was always quite silent about Soundspectral in the past.
For the track record, if you buy a Tascam Gigastudio,
or a Creamware audio card, they come bundled with a
Soundspectral product for exemple.

By reading the credits of your sample librarys you will
be surprised how often you will find my name.
(mostly on BestService products)
But, I do look forward to the release of your amp sim. "Guitar players, the Soundclick MP3 demo page got updated!" Can't wait.
By inventing the new modeling engine  2 years ago,
I opend pandoras box to a new universe of possibilities.
So I was exploring those totally new grounds and I only
scratched the surface.

Yes, the amp will come, it was never abandoned.

P.S. The unlabled knobs on DuosX are PAN right under the
VOLUME fader.

thats all samples, though, not plugins, isnt it?
An idiot on Set Theory:

Has anybody seen my hat? I'm sure I left it around here somewhere...

What? His plugins were bundled with Gigastudio? Why not just release Duox and the other plugins?

Post

Rather than mugging me for not using the search function, how about a brief description of Midiworks' historical misdemeanours?

Post

He took the whole of KVR for a very long road to know where by tantalising everyone with a revolutionary product. It was quite amusing if you had the forsight not to gte involved. Alas it pissed some people right off.

Apart from the Soundspectral CDrom for Creamware, this cd
included a sampleplayer/synth,
yes, all 4 and 5star rated sample librarys.
(Sound on Sound, Keys, Keyboards)

No, just parts of the Soundspectral CDrom for Giga.

The vocal VST's will be released as NEW and extended version
after S L A M M E R .

I don't know what would piss them off. They got that thread, years of entertainment. If anything, they should be thanking Rene.

Yeah. Perhaps not as entertaining as RegPhoenix harassing WilliamK back in the day, but still a KvR institution.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
