Of course if I am wrong and the distribution has actually already taken place, then my apologies to Tolga and someone please let me know who won the plugins I am offering so I can send them out.

as far as I know, the non-cash prizes have not been distributed. at least as an entrant in DC07 and coming 4th place I haven't received any prize or further communication other than apologies from Tuz and a hint from Meffy that it will happen soon (on 27th March).

For the record, I didn't enter to win anything, both sink and I are proud of making truc and just wanted to take part in this freeware community event, and coming 4th made us very happy.

However, it would be kind of weird to start a DC08 if the DC07 prizes have still not been distributed

I really support the idea of the DC as a kind of free festival of plugins and hope it can continue.

Well, i've no plugin ideas percolating at the moment so if assistance is needed, i'm in.

I really think last years prize situation needs to be resolved first though, can't see many sponsors bothering to get involved again if there's outstanding issues from last year.

And I'm speaking from the position of '28th', so not really rubbing my hands in anticipation or anything...

Actually it shouldn't be a problem for the developers,
to host the own Plugin ...
There is sufficiently favorable Webspace meanwhile

Its would be irresponsible to start DC08 with DC07 not final.
In my view (outsider....KVRnewb...looking in)
DC07 prizes must be distro'd before you start DC08.

The DC is fun and of great value to devs,but prize distro is tarnishing the image.It seems unorganized.

I have a few ideas cooking and am considering entering one of them.
