Maybe you could make some location recordings and post them as ambience loops or soundscaping?
:-o
Funny, I was thinking - What the hell does a wet cat sound like?

Or am I missing something? :|

I've got great fondness for the layered ending to once in a lifetime. And those bright white firecrackers that are as loud as possible, I've always wondered if that sound/impact could be properly recorded.
OT, I love the smell of moss, smells like home to me.

I do! It says so on the LP credits:
Chick Corea:
Yamaha KX88, TX-816, Synclavier, Linn 9000, Gong

Dave Weckl: Yamaha Drums, Simmons, Drums, Linn Drum

John Patitucci: Smith/Jackson 6-string Bass

Love the 80s!! They all wrote what gear they used, instead of just "all instruments" or Programmed by"

As for my fav sound: Steinway Grand. What else is there?

You ever really listen to the sound of a bottle of Guiness draught opening? You usually can't hear it, assuming you're drinking buddies are as loud as mine, but there are so many little sounds that make it up. The bottle opener grinding on the cap, the cap bending, the air escaping, the "rocket widget" rattling, the carbonation coming to the surface. Yeah, it's a cool sound.

Wind in a certain dense array of flagpoles, near where I used to live. I listened to it for hours once, amazing. I was stoned, tho... 8)

303 synth lines do things to my brain (and neck hair) that no other synth noises do, even after listening to them for nearly 20 years 8)

My favorite sound I've ever heard, in my life, is the opening pad sound from Fluke's "Setback". There's something about it that just gets me psyched. I have no idea how they made it, I know it was a hardware synth, but it's one of the most amazing sounds I've ever heard.
