Hmn, alas they've gone for the other side of the ballpark on this one. When you select GPO from the presets list (in Notion) and add, say, Violins to the score, it adds an instance of ARIA Player and automatically loads the preset inside it (dunno how they do that, to be honest!).

This sounds great, but unfortunately it means that every time you add another instrument, another ARIA player is loaded up.
yes, not only that, but it doesn't acknowledge the aria multi as GPO-based at all, so you get no automatic articulation mappings, etc.
the workaround for me has been to simply fire up a standard instance of GPO, and assign whatever sounds i'll use to whatever slots. as long as the articulation map is the same for all of the loaded voices, everything works fine, but you only get the single audio output...perhaps not ideal, but i can live with it. basically, i can assign my string section to 1 instance of GPO, and the string section then shows up as 1 channel in the notion mixer (like a stem/submix). if i want to tweak individual levels, etc, i just do it in the instance of GPO.

it is true that you will probably have to modify the GPO presets notion loads, but given how it all works, it's not such a big deal, really. i'm curious to see if the new sle/gpo adds anything in the way of proper multitimbral support, like that offered for VSL. if not, i suppose i can live with it, though. it'll be nice to have the templates for new projects, at least :)
