I'm wondering if this might be a way to use EnergyXT 2.5 to get around the single core limitation of software like Project5. Or is EnergyXT single core only too?

i got the full version of the rewire vst, but i would like to use it with cubase le 4 also...
i wonder why it doesnt work...maybe because cubase le 4 is already a rewire master, just that the function is disabled in this stripped down cubase version ?
answer would be nice
regards carsten

Can the Rewire VST be used to output multiple tracks out of XT into another host? The website only talks about getting stuff into XT.

Unfortunatley, Rewire vst will only turn XT into the Master host.ras.s wrote:Can the Rewire VST be used to output multiple tracks out of XT into another host? The website only talks about getting stuff into XT.
You can use EnergyXT as a VST inside your other host, and kinda makes it a slave.

Yea I see it is so.. Won't buy that then. I would have recorded my XT projects on to another DAW, cause the export function is giving me a headache.. And damn that VSTi has only one stereo out, so I would have to run multiple instances of it, all opened with the same project but with different tracks muted.
And last night I had the most awful time to date with XT.. It just wouldn't stay up with a certain project. Crash! Changes not saved, more tinkering around, crash! Boom! Bam! KRsssshhh.. No use. I guess I just have to tell my friends they're not able to mix my projects. :/
