Hey! April 1 is over.....

Anyway, one wish for me would be to remove the Part A and B into a single Front Panel.
I think there is enough room for it.
Nothing major but...

Yes...

although: I have 4 different dongles right now, and I do prefer that new VST's etc fit onto one of them, instead of adding new solutions.

For what? Dongle protection has already been cracked for both systems..as far a i know..

so makes no sense imo..

I really don't understand your remark. I'm a legitimate user of music software, and I prefer new products to fit into one of the solutions I already use. In what way should it matter to me whether or not it has been cracked??

(of course) I have no issues at all with Sylenth1 copy protection. It's one of the finest synths out there, and to be honest, I like synths that don't offer an update every week or every month. Besides new presets of course.

I'm a legit user of software as well and i almost just got my software like u-he stuff or psp not dongle protected.

In case of playing live and going on tour its something i really prefer not to have..

so what benefit do you see on a dongle if not copy protection??

especially when i bought the software i want to see it not cracked if possible..in order to see the developer earning money , that he is able to concentrate and live by the product..

so i would prefer any way of copy protection that works..

Seriously, is that one of the things you think about when you buy something? I'm a legitimate user, but I rarely think 'Hey, I'm giving more money to the dev'. I just think 'Hey, what a great price for a great piece of kit'. :?

In the first place sure i think im happy to buy a software..

but when i see it has been cracked like with cubase now for example it's even not a good feeling for me..

I like copy protection that doesn't force me to re-authorize when I install a new version of the software (e.g. Kongaudio needs to be re-authorized after every two-monthly version update), or when I replace my hard-disk.
The dongle is a nice single medium to store license data, compared to serial numbers and keyfiles that are spread around my system and my mailbox.
