Very generous againhakey wrote:Anyway, seeing as this is the last contest for a while, and as a reward for their perseverance, I'd like to offer the prize to the person who has entered the most patch contests without winning one, whoever that is...?

But I guess it would be much work to find out who that would be.
I participated in 9 contests if I counted correctly.

Yep, I was going to suggest that anyone who thought they qualified could speak up for themselves, but I guess not everyone will read the thread.bmrzycki wrote:We'll have to go through the voting threads to determine who that could be...
I'll start having a look through the old contests...

Now see there? I had to wait to see that I lost
Actually, this is the best score I've gotten in any kvr contest, thanks guys!
Good work hakey, congrats! Very kind offer you've made as well

Congrats hakey!
Lovely patches! I sorta' suspected the Herbie patch was yours.... than even more after I checked the phibes patch out... some great patching, way to go!
Sendy, I really liked your dropped metal patch.. that's why I've voted for it ... well I liked hakey's patches a bit better, sorry
Would I make it better to remind you that Zebra 2.6 would be out soon ?
I did also really like couple of other patches and was a bit difficult to choose what patches to keep voting for.... ow well...
As usual, thanks to hakey and Brian, the u-he team and the contestants!
Now... what did we learn from this edition?
- I learned that editing a Z-lette patch in Zebra gives you access to some extra features that will be loadable once reopening into Z-lette.
- Fine tuning a patch can also be detrimental, so be careful!
Can't wait for the next contest!

I have that feeling about my patches as well...Bronto Scorpio wrote:Funnily my "bad" patch got way more points than my "good" one

As I read between the threads, Zebra 2.6 will bring some new modules and stuff... pretty exciting to wait for and will possibly be released this year!abstractcats wrote:3ee wrote: better to remind you that Zebra 2.6 would be out soon ?![]()

I'd like to hear people's feedback on the private vs public now that we've done both. Do people like one over the other? Did the private ballot seem different when actually using it? Is it the new black? Inquiring minds want to know.hakey wrote:Thanks are due to Brian for once again running the voting thread (the secret ballot worked surprisingly well)!

I prefer the private ballot.Having said that I think you should choose whichever way is easiest for you,in terms of totting up the votes etc.bmrzycki wrote:I'd like to hear people's feedback on the private vs public now that we've done both. You're good enough to put the effort in to do this,so I think it should be done the way that is least hassle for you.

I probably like the other, public voting method better.. mainly because of giving and receiving feedback on the patches is more exciting! Either way, it's fine with me.bmrzycki wrote:I'd like to hear people's feedback on the private vs public now that we've done both. Do people like one over the other? Congrats Hakey, enjoy your prize.
It had fun with this Patch Contest.
I'm still behind of a Zebra synth. Maybe next time...
And thanks for those who voted and enjoyed my patches!
Have a good day

I like the secret one better
The voting is as easy as with the other method but it is way more exciting since we don't know the results until the end
So I'd prefer that one if that isn't to much work for you!
Cheers
