Oh Andreas - you're SO CLOSE!

Couple of bugs still I noticed. When I reload the 'song' using Slifty in OP5, Slifty's Global Pitch comes back to a default of -100. Also I swear I brought the Cutoff down in slot 1 as well as slot 4, when I reloaded the Slifty Song, Slot 1 Cutoff was full 'up'? That may have been my faux pas though?

And lastly, on the third 'reload' of The Slifty Song to see how it held, it crashed Orion on me.

When I reopened Orion, and reloaded The Slifty Song - the Cutoff in slot 1 seemed accurate to what I saved it as, but Global Pitch is always at -100.

But in all my other 'pushing and pulling' of sliders and buttons, Slifty held amazingly well!

Really like how you can 'right click' to sweep and clear grid levels, and the File Picker is excellent in that I can 'right click' 4 nutty sounds in a direct file and just hit 'Open' after. Nice touch!

When this babe gets good and smooth, I'm going to do my best to send you a donation! It won't be much, but it's the thought that counts!;) Slifty is so AWESOME!

The update got things working in Sonar for me. Thanks! On a side note...how do I get this thing to not play all of the time when the song is stopped? It starts blasting as soon as I load a saved project.

The 1.01 update certainly does work better with the Cakewalk adapter (but it still throws a warning). It does however remain 'stuck' and running all the time.

FLStudio, on the other hand, plays a pattern sequence once and once only.

A happy medium somewhere in between would really be wonderful

I just use midi learn to set up my patterns to be triggered from the piano roll. And then leave the first pattern blank. So the thing doesn't play all the time and can be triggered when needed. Of course you need to retrigger pattern 0 to get it to stop again.

I also experience the -100 pitch phenomenon.

Just bugging, as requested

I really like the idea of slifty, and a donation seems likely....but there's a niggle:

I'm using FL studio,and I can get the samples to loop only if I push the amp envelope and release sliders to the top. However, the samples always fade out after playing for 4 bars, even when looped.

I want the samples to loop indefinitely. Am I missing something?

OK, I messed around some more with Slifty in Fl Studio - Apart from the samples fading out:

- The sequencer seems unstable. Sometimes it allows some steps to play, other times it reverses the sample randomly.

- After saving a song and opening it again, the loop points have moved and master global pitch jumps down to -100.

If there are any specific tests I can run, let me know. I'd love to see Slifty work in my favorite host

Oh well, just got an FATAL ERROR when i tried to load an fxp I did within another song in tracktion, just e-mailed you the error-message, might help - or is fxp/fxb-saving disbaled in the demo-version?

About loading an fxp/fxb-preset: when loading the directory with the samples used in the preset to the wave-window where you can assign the samples Slifty at least remembers the assignment of samples and their tweakings, but not the sequences in the stepseq. Nevertheless steps in the sequences are recalled within the same song, so i might be wrong with expecting them to be stored inside an fxp/fxb.

hehe, PLEASE don't change anything!! if you do i'll just have to rename this one and keep using it.

I haven't noticed bugs, but if there are i just assumed that they are glitches that dear slifty, in all it's wierdness, means to add whilst mangling stuff for me. I love the way this plugin behaves, it's got more of a unique personality then anything i know.

i don't 'use' slifty - it always turns out that we work together as partners. I always value slifty's opinion on things

The Global Pitch coming back at -100 is a definate bug, that hopefully Andreas can fix soon. As for DeSelby's problems, I think that once DeSelby gets used to the page tabs and meter levels he may get the hang of it?

Other than that, I really love Slifty too!

Think Andreas has got everything one could need or want on this, and anything more would just be overkill.
