When you're into electronic music technology, it also sucks being bi/tri-lingual when one of your languages isn't German.Gonga wrote:It sux being monolingual!

The little controller looks interesting.
I wonder how the Diva controller will look like once finished.

i think the urs-ified faderfox controller is an excellent idea! i really like the faderfox LV1 i have.
since it's a prototype here's one thought: the new faderfoxes have USB only. i think that's a disadvantage for live use. because windows has its quirky ways with usb midi devices. sometimes they get a new name, sometimes the order is messed up...the safe live solution is to use a midi solutions midi merger (e.g. the 4 into 1 type) and use a singel computer midi port only. e.g. the rme multiface midi port is very reliable and low latency.
so, a midi out port would be very much appreciated.

That's a pretty funny video. Urs looks like he's afraid the interviewer is going to climb up his nose, the interviewer looks like he just might try.3ee wrote:OK, more Uhbik VS Reason ... Urs explains the differences (and similarities) of a normal vst or au plugin and the rack extension format at some point, besides other info...

I visited the U-he booth at the Musikmesse yesterday and had some nice and interesting talks with Urs, Howard, Clemens and a few others from the U-He team.
I especially enjoyed talking to Howard who seems to be a nice person and a great sound designer of course. That Diva controller looked great too.
It was also a nice idea that U-He provided all demo versions of their products and some more stuff on a USB flash drive (1 GB) with the U-He logo which was provided in a stylish silver metal box (again with the U-He logo).
Many thanks to Urs, Howard and the U-He team for a nice time at the U-He booth.

A "U-he USB Bundle" with all plugins could be one of the u-he shop products. I wonder how much would it cost.
