It was only a matter of time it seems. You two were friends for years from what I could see at fairs.

P.S.: We don't require him to cut all wires to Magix. If his expertise is needed to update any of his former work, we don't mind him helping out.

That's good to hear - his "FishFilets" live on in the Analog Modeling Suite and Vandal is still a not to underestimate guitar amp. It would be a shame to not maintenance them any further.

Whooo.... thanks for welcoming me. Highly appreciated.

I've had a bit of a mental rollercoaster ride recently (I really loved my old job, so it was a long fight against myself and numerous doubts involved).
Although u-he & me a more than happy about it all, I'm aware of a steep learning curve and lots of new stuff to get accustomed to. Not to mention expectations.
Was used to work in sort of a sandbox (my plugin years at Magix where more or less a one-man show, which felt good somehow), but u-he's got talents & knowledge on fields which I hardly knew they even existed. In former times, I thought Urs & me had more a 'Pinky & Brain' connection (guess who is who ), and then Clemens came along...
I've begun to take courses again (a distance study program, EE/mechatronics), to have a better background for my 30h/week job at u-he, and to get away a bit from my usual 'empirical' approach to things, so I guess it will take some time before there's relevant input from my side. I also thought I should do more hardware prototyping in the future, for the sake of products and modeling. I missed the smoke of solder, but it seems there's a lot to inhale at u-he...
