Same goes for the hidden GUI editor - a more elaborate documentation would be very welcome

It's hidden so well I didn't know it was there! How do you get to it?EvilDragon wrote:Same goes for the hidden GUI editor - a more elaborate documentation would be very welcome

Create a file called default.h2p in the Presets folder root, and write this inside:
!EDITOR=YES
This works for all u-he plugins.

It IS open and everybody can use it to customize the skins. It's just not documented well.

No that's definitely NOT the reason. Don't be ridiculous. It's Urs' bug actually, as he admitted in another thread. He'll fix it in the next Zebra update, he said. (Right?)

Of course it's not right. Everybody knows that when there is a problem in some Windows application, it's Windows fault, but when there's a problem in a Mac application it's either a bug or a user mistake.EvilDragon wrote:No that's definitely NOT the reason. Actually, this thing is mostly designed for myself. Clemens and Sascha can add some knobs and stuff to their test projects, but the full power of it is somewhat hidden...
Making the editor user friendly would require a massive amount of work. If we ever get another designer in, it might be easier to teach him what's there than to write a documentation or - beware! - add palettes. It's kind of the gui design equivalent to Emacs. You gotta know it to use it.

LOL, I'll never get a Mac. I can get better performance for half the cash spent (and this is verified by Steinberg, Vienna, NI, and some other vendors - their own software runs better on Windows than on Mac, simply because when you code for Windows you can optimize the programming better, especially when disk streaming is concerned).
