Do u have that letter to take a look at?

No, only Urs does of course :)

He mentioned them recently here on KVR.
D u have a link?

:D

P.s.
That means Urs must work harder in order to be better :)

Hmmm. It's flattering that every new synth gets compared to Diva. Monark might actually be a serious Minimoog clone, I don't know. But its concept is the opposite of Diva, even if you can use it (or its building blocks) as a module within Reaktor.

Obviously we're right - Diva is a game changer. Yet no-one has attempted a take on her concept, nor on our numerical simulation approach. And while no-one is doing that, we're taking her to the next level in a month or two ;-)

I just hope we're not "type cast" for vintage emulations. I'm actually looking muchly forward to our new efforts in digital synthesis.

It was pretty recent. Within the last month or so. You could ask him and he'd probably tell you about it. I'm sure it's no secret.

Somewhere in the original "something new from NI" thread.

I applied for a job in 2001. They declined. In 2005 or so I got an email asking to send my resume. I declined.

Priceless :)

* edit: to clarify, I love both companies ... just u-he more ;)

I wholeheartedly look forward to this. I love VA as much as the next person, but... it's covered. I look forward to some digital ice to cool the analog fires.

Oh yeah, and quit teasing us with the future, Urs!

hehehe, it was completely harmless. In 2001 I had nothing to show, the application was destined to fail.

At the later time I got "invites" all over... Korg, Wizoo, Access, Emagic. But the value of u-he would already surpass anything they could possibly offer. Why work on someone else's ideas for a fraction of the value?

Ok. So no Bazille screenshot then.

A Diva to a new level?!!
Well that's cool

P.s.

Thank u for the hardwork!!!

Yeah, NI with their crap customer support, sh*t pricing schemes, intrusive copy protection, flagrant "IDM" endorsements embossing every square inch of their products releasing another "powered by Reaktor" instrument? Yeah, it's a real threat to U-he Diva...... I'm sure Urs is shaking in his boots. LOL.

Some developers are just so much better at physical modeling than others. I've never heard anything from NI that sounds close to as good as Diva, OR Zebra. The sound samples of Monark are no exception.

P.s. I think ur life would be totaly different if they accepted u for a job and their might not be Diva and ACE and many others synths which are one of the best right now on the music market...
Sometime the fail in real life might be a good thing because if u will not stop going to ur dream and learn from all ur mistakes and will get stronger later u might succed and gain much more in the end then if awrything was perfect from the beggining because ur first success might blind u and u will not want to become better and stronger later.

But please do not stop, Diva and other Uhe synth are amazing and outstanding, but do not be blinded by ur succeess, please always move fovard and try to do the best with all ur passion like from the day one.
My 2 cents... :)
