the key is definitely studying and listening to what you instrument you are trying to attempt.
It is a raw template for most things to apply some musicianship to. I do especially like some of its imperfections in tunings for certain instruments without having to apply further microtunings. I have a controller that has a four way joystick, that has a 'feature' that I think is really a hardware defect and I'm afraid if I ever have to send it in they might inadvertantly have to fix it!
(It has a 'second resting center' that allows me to throw off the entire board by somewhere around 16-20 cents in pitch.) It is 'feature' I've been able to make great use of!

Hi,
in case someone is still searching for sarangi sample i just release a sample pack with resonance strings collected in a ableton instrument rack, hits on different parts of the instruments to use as percussion and 26 single phrases in major and minor tonality (all in D)...hope to help somebody out there!
