Not to confuse the issue here, but a much cheaper sequencer than T is PowerTracks Pro Audio, which has all of these midi filtering features built into it.
I've used it for 8 years now. I've just registered my copy of T and I'm getting nervous that these very basic midi editing tools are not part of the code. It's somewhat surprising, since I've been used to them for so long.
What PTPA lacks is a super cool interface like T, and no Loop based composition (sort of like T).

You can even print very basic scores from PowerTracks pro audio, complete with lyrics and chord symbols if you feel like adding them in.
