1. Multi out....without it I am dead in the water.
2. Track Folders
3. Auto crossfades when cutting and moving audio material in the waveform view. Simply splitting recorded audio will introduce clicks with this. Right now, you have to zoom in at sample level to place splits at the zero point. Just takes WAY too long.
4. Auto input quantize

Thank you, good to know... that actually makes it easier for me to buy it.KGZM wrote:It does recover your work after a crash. Maybe not in the demo but it definitely does.humanbeingbeing wrote:I would like to state a loosely tentative order of preference with consideration to complexity, or 'low hanging fruit' as Dom said - BUT amongst all this the random crashing with no recall of your work -- I can't buy it in this state, even for the ability to save my work, it even makes testing difficult and I REALLY want to be able to use this at some point in future actually LIVE:
........
ABOVE ALL ELSE, the random crashing with no save of your work, I take it the full version does this also? too bad about these things but actually after a day or two of really playing with it, it is really growing on me.... it requires some changes in thinking but I'm making them quickly. Just need these small things
I crashed the demo by letting my computer go to sleep with JACK and Bitwig was running. When I woke up and woke the computer up, I bought a license for Bitwig and after activation the tune I was working on was right there in the crash recovery.

- Spectrum Analyzer in EQs
- Fades for Audio/Midi
- Multi Outputs
- lower values in the Delay plugins (in the moment 10ms possible), but would be nice to go down to 1ms

I'm really liking the modulators - a multi-point envelope mod or massive style step performer would be awesome

Yall know what's funny about this here thread? People say Ableton sucks and they're leaving for Bitwig, but the features they want to see in Bitwig are already in Ableton. So everyone wants an Ableton that isn't Ableton.

I love Ableton, but I did purchase Bitwig. Yes Bitwig isn't as stable as it could be. But some of the features are just too good to not use. I.e, per not expression (really love that) & layered editing. Honestly I'm finding that such a treat to use and Ableton does not have it so… Also I'm really enjoying the midi editing features (note length is awesome and the quanzite feature is great)flstate14 wrote:Yall know what's funny about this here thread? Not to mention the large volume meters and displaying peak & rms … honest that is brilliant and you can even change it to k-20 if so wish.

I would like to see plugin folders shown in the same order as I have added them.
I have added folders for my 64bit and 32bit folders.
I'd like to see 64bit VSTs first in the plugin list, because I want to use those if such thing exists.
Currently BWS does not care about this order. It shows my 32bit folder first, which means lots of extra scrolling when I want to add a 64bit VST to a track.

I don't know how many times it can be said on here. . .
Live is awesome for playing Live on stage. It's killer no doubt about it.
Live is awesome for trashing and tweaking and having a fun a$$ blast. No doubt about it.
What we want is a Live that we can fully mix down in. Unfortunately that is never going to happen because it would apparently require a total rewrite of the Ableton Live code. Turning it into Ableton 'Producer Studio' instead of Ableton 'Live'.
So that leaves many producers wanting a DAW like Live with clips and clip views and totally tweak n trashable but, with perfect working automation ala no latency issues etc. A DAW that when you hit render what you get actually sounds like what you've been monitoring for days instead of a hazy mess because of the automation problems. A DAW that doesn't have to be rewired into yet another #$%^&*-ING DAW
So electronic producers prayed and prayed to the mighty spaghetti monster that one day, a hero would rise amongst all the crappy rock n roll tracking DAWS that make us want to blow our heads off like DP. A DAW with clips and clip views with non latent automation problems trashing our mix downs.
And…
Once the bugs are fixed…
Spaghetti monster willing….
Bitwig will hopefully be that Hero.

i wish you could highlight tracks and drag something into them and it will put whatever you dragged into all the highlighted areas
i don't know if any other DAW has that but i find my self looking for it quite a lot in bitwig

I'd like to see all the people who've been posting about BW on Live's user forum over and over again to keep their BW posts here now that this place is open and not bother posting on Live forum any more. That'd be cool.
I'd also love to see some of the noisier Abes forum posters to come over here and start pissing off you guys instead, just to wind dom up. Where's b0unce these days?

A minor feature, but it would be of great use!
The stepsequencer that'll go to the next step by midi input (trigger).
To me this would be a very creative option to have.
Next to that i double the frequency analyzer in the EQ's

Most important:
1. Remove all he bugs! It cannot be that I vsts like Synthmaster, Sampletank, Spark etc. are useless in Bitwig!
2. Midi-Routing and Multiple-Out
3. VST-GUis only visible with active track.
4. It would be sensational if there would be a function in the sampleplayer to implement your own Samplelibrary, not only presets. So you can browse through your samples and automatically replace a sample in the sampleplayer in preview. When you like the new sample, press ok and the old sample gets replaced. That´s how the Sparksoftware works and it´s great!

What problems do you have with Synthmaster? I have it working here on Windows 8.1 with no problems (running the 32 Bit version here)?servolenkung wrote:Most important:

I reported Sampletank throughout the Beta and it was looked into until the last hours before release, but this thing seems broken beyond repair and very hard to get running. IK really let that one hang out to dry. It doesn't work in most of my hosts anymore actually.
I don't have Spark so I can't comment on it.
Be sure to report the ones that don't work to Tech-Support.
I agree with most of the rest though. Since everybody is requesting those (and they were requested during beta already) I' sure hope we will see those in the 1.x cycle.
Nr. 4 sounds good, but I don't know if it's planned.
Cheers,
Tom
