Alpha Octopus Organ 3 relectro RMV Drum Addiction

Post

I think everyone's taste is different little bit!
I bought Octopus, Alpha and Relectro. I like a lot all of them but especially Relectro! It's exactly how I like to transfer simple ordinary beats to glitch ones. There are many beat manipulators but I like a lot the design of Relectro.

So happy also with Alpha. The bigger interfaces are very refreshing and comfortable to work. The sound reminds me of Hybrid 3 but Alpha has a nice VA design and it's nice to return to the first synths I used in the past (the free one) and see what I can do with the full version.

Octopus is a heavy weight synth and can sound very big when using the unison but with high cpu usage sometimes.

High quality instruments indeed :) if only there is Alpino with them! (fantasy wish I know!).
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I can answer this myself now. I bought it and I just gave it a quick test drive. Yes, you can drag the Midi file that you load from the RMV interface into your DAW (well, at least in FL Studio). It's the "D" icon all the way to the right under the midi file load menu thingy. Load a midi file, click "D" and drag to host and use the midi with other drum VSTi's should you wish to do so :) I am going to leave a bit more feedback about the 2 that I bought, tomorrow (Alpha and RMV). It's getting late. Alpha, I sort of knew what to expect. Happy but no surprises. RMV I knew nothing about. Man am I happy I got RMV, even though I have Punch, Geist, etc..
Play it by ear

It is so damn good! So many possibilities with different modules, loops and modulation matrix for every pad! It is crazy flexible! It sounds very good as well.

The most thing that pleased me, is when I drag and drop a midi (D button) to Studio One v3 and double click the midi file "YES!!!", all the pads written in the drum editor correctly and when I change the kit, all the names change according to the new kit :D The names also appear on the piano roll notes, how cool is that! (It is the same with Reaper as well)!

This is the most ridiculous price I paid for such instrument! I really hope LinPlug sells so many licenses (and they are only serial protected! Crazy!). The value of LinPlug instruments are absolutely higher than Cakewalks ones (for me).

All that I purchased are working great in Windows 10 64bit / S1v3 64bit and Reaper 5 64bit

Alpha 3 for me.

I didn't think I'd be interested in Relectro but I tried the Demo anyway and was amazed at the basic 'sound' of the effects. It makes things sound like those authentic analog sample packs I've purchased from Zero-G and others. It has that quality to my ears at least. When the plugin was released I didn't rate it but now, with a little bit more experience, I'm sold.

How big is the RMV download file?

As it includes lots of loops and stuff, it got to be well over 100 MB ?

That's it. GAS is my name. Buying is my game.

Bought the lot.

They are 3 files(all are installers), first one is about 26mb (the main installer/program), the second with drums libraries is about 960mb and the last one of loops is about 1.4 GB.

Just bought Octopus, and don't buy stuff in Euros, the exchange rate I got at DR is way more rotten than even Paypal.

Digital river translates $19,99 to €19,67 :o

Paypal gave me Octopus for €18,63
