pen + ctrl modifider (for the selection) is quite good now, just modifying multi notes at the same the is bit uncomfortable, that's all

OK bug acknowledgedirtimid wrote:Just tried the drum chokes, and indeed it is not working consistently.
I add a couple of ehats and a kick drum, and only 1 hat chokes on my kick drum, the other hat which should choke too keeps playing when the kickdrum hits. Definetely should be looked upon.
The new zoom to fit is also much better (thank you), but why not full zoom ?
I also noticed zoom to fit doesnt work when the selection is for example 1/4th of a bar, it leaves alot of space on the right side.
Great update tho

Next Actions are broken here.
Example:
1. I have set a clip to 'Stop' after '1.0.0.00'
2. Now I start playback of that clip with arranger time position set to 1.1.1.00 (the beginning)
-> clip stoppes correctly after one bar (at absolute time position 2.1.1.00)
3. Now I start it with arranger playback marker at postion 2.1.1.00
-> clip stops immediately!
4. Now I start the clip with arranger playback marker at position 3.1.1.00
-> clip won't stop anymore!
So it seems to take the 'after' value for the Next actions as absolute time not as duration!
Can you confirm that?

Thnx for the update! nice!
But still when i bounce a clip and i want to drag it to my "old" browser for later use or drag it to my drumachine, bitwig totally crashes and forces to close. It happens 50/50 of the time here on W7 x64.
Anyhow have a nice christmas and go easy with the firworks in berlin, really like to see some updates next year!
(because damn they now how to fire those crackers down there
)

Several issues here:volker@bitwig wrote:IMPROVED - Made pencil tool smarter - it now lets you move and extend notes/clips without having to switch to the arrow tool.
- Can't move clips with the pencil tool, only notes.
- Can't extend clips with the pencil tool, only notes.
- note memory (the length of the last selected note is applied to the notes which are drawn next) doesn't work with selecting notes with the pencil tool.
No, you weren't talking about that but about selling your licence which is definetely out of topic.mindbeet wrote:This is what I'm talking about.
It's an 'Release candidate', not a release. Of course hopefully as many 'crappy' things as possible can be fixed before the actual release. Yeah, and that's the topic heremindbeet wrote:release another crappy version and I have to give it away...

Post Recording Action is very useful, BUT
IMO it should keep adding new slots to track if recording continues.
Even after last existing scene.
Now when last scene is reached it stops recording, but user probably doesn't notice it.

The new post recording features are also very nice!
When choosing to record for 4bars (for example) in post recording it would be great to have some visual representation in the clip of where we are exactly in the recording (movement of the playmarker). This way you can visually see when we are at the end of the recording (of these 4bars).

Oh ... And when browsing thru your clips in "old" browser with tempo sync and prelistening on, and you stumble to a clip with a VST in it and NOT installed, it crashes....
Was not before.... (jup need to install the vst,s freebies i collected in all those years... )
But would be nice as before.. no sound? skip on..

Plugin performance seems worse on OSX when running as an independent process. I'm havin a lot of trouble with Kaivo in Bitwig. And in this release it seems to take about 5% more CPU on average than 1.3.5.

Can't use 1.3.6 whatsoever, audio engine crashes instantly every time I try to activate it. Ran as administrator
