Absolutely! Multi-output is definitely on the todo list. We had to postpone it for Latin Percussion due to some problems in the framework we are using, but we are working on it.taoyoyo wrote:A quick Feature Request for Hats, which I purchased recently and Latin Percussion (which I would consider purchasing if this request was added...
Would you consider adding multiple outs to these?
So in Hats the user would be able to route the 'closed' and 'open' to different outputs in one's DAW of choice? (Yes, it's possible to use two instances, but a lot of the time the user might want the same parameters to be tweaked for both whilst adding different 'DAW' effects to each). For Latin Percussion, and several different sounds multiple outs would be even handier (I'd say essential?)

You can get the latest installers here: https://www.audiothing.net/updates/ (or if you bought it this week you can re-download it from the links you got in your confirmation email)
Let me know how it goes.
I wanted a retrigg or a simple 2 line step-seq that can(like latin beat) be dragged onto a Midi track in Logic X

I'm sorry it's not what you thought, but I clearly stated it here:realmarco wrote:crap that not what i thought it was gonna be![]()

Anyway, it seems like many people requested a retriggering feature, so I'll try to push it for the next update. The only thing I'm not sure is where to put it, perhaps I can have it as a secondary "tab" in the LFO module. The auto play feature will automatically trigger 4 notes (3 short, 1 long). This feature is useful when you need to tweak a preset without creating a MIDI region or in case you don't have a MIDI controller.
Any thoughts?

does Retrigg need an Lfo to do its Thing ?audiothing wrote:he only thing I'm not sure is where to put it, perhaps I can have it as a secondary "tab" in the LFO module.

1 or 2 LFO that is assignable to the FX would be awesome !
also have a modulation matrix that lets you select destinations
and a slider for how strong the modulation is

Well no, but I will need the space on the GUI to "justify" the retrigrealmarco wrote:does Retrigg need an Lfo to do its Thing ?

Don't know how to say this clearly, but I'm in the mood for a combo of drum machine with fxs, designed for an interactive real-time performance and fast sound design. Maybe something like the RS7k with a built-in Bitrman and a long dense reverb/vintage sytle echo, but designed from the ground-up for realtime tweaking via master fx or inserts, with a true live performance oriented sequencing and tweaking. With the product range available, seems like you are one of the best candidate to do this kind of thing. It may not be as complicated as it sounds, a more advanced version of the SR-88 coupled with a built-in Frostbite and Wave Box can be a good start, with an interactive and fun to play interface as the key. It will make one of a kind drum machine for sure, especially through that infamous cereals reverbaudiothing wrote:We also have a few more "whole" drum machines to do

We have been working on a full drum machine for a while now. The problem is I'm not sure yet about all the futures I want to includecrystalmsc wrote:Don't know how to say this clearly, but I'm in the mood for a combo of drum machine with fxs, designed for an interactive real-time performance and fast sound design. i've been meaning to write to you and suggest a few improvements for Hats. i've been using it a lot, and dig the overall sound, but there's a few things i'm constantly wanting to do that i can't unfortunately.
bought Hand Clapper too, it's great. Now i want a rimshot plugin
actually, a real good single snare drum voice plugin would be awesome too ;P
love your work as always

+1 for a snare
The ideal packaging format would be the Cableguys model. Load the “Shaperbox” master plugin and insert modules as required. All of the modules would also be independently available also.

I definitely like the dedicated VST per sound direction that things are going. I already have a few dedicated kick VSTs, but what I really want is a snare machine. I can never find the right snare.

Sure, let me know what you'd like to add to Hats and I'll see if I can do it. I'm still working on a few bug fixes and improvements along with new samples.sqigls wrote:i've been meaning to write to you and suggest a few improvements for Hats. i've been using it a lot, and dig the overall sound, but there's a few things i'm constantly wanting to do that i can't unfortunately.

Oh, I like that concept but it might get a bit confusing. I'll have to think about it. For now the big drum machine I'm working on is just sample-based.Mushy Mushy wrote:+1 for a snare

Yes, a bigger sample-based drum machine which features a step sequencer + euclidean sequencer, round robin and several other features.Halonmusic wrote:Are you @audiothing going to make another drumsynth ?
Here's a very raw test of what works so far:
I might release a lighter version with just the Euclidean sequencer, as that project is getting bigger than expected (and basically evolved from a prototype of the euclidean sequencer that I was building), but I'm not sure yet. Right now I'm focusing on some updates, then I'll move back to new products.
