I play from purely Electronic to Rock and everything that can fit between these two poles.
I have my all time best tracks in youtube (the ones I think deserve the time it takes to make some kind of video for them) and the most recent at https://hearthis.at/JKn3Pbzp/ (sometimes not totally finished or only a preliminary mix).
So, here I post 2 of my best from youtube, one Space inspired Electronic, and the other a more Rocky instrumental (they're not mastered or leveled in anyway, just a normalized final mix):
1.Wonders of the MilkyWay:
an experiment in setting my own music synchronized with a sequence of wonderful video clips from the Hubble Heritage site.

2.aSynth Rocks!:
in this one, all heavy distorted guitar-like power chord sounds were programmed using only Smart Electronix ASynth and a few distortion fx. The Drums are samples and the solo guitar is a slghtly modified sound from a Korg WaveStation.
I hope You Enjoy it! :D

Just wanted to add that I've listened to some really good gems in the previous 3 pages of this thread -- my more detailed opinion on those later as soon as I find the time...

Love to play with different genres, but my favorite are Space, Ambient, New Age (as I understand it)... Also, experimenting with generative music, like those in my "Astronauts Phonographies" album (WIP) https://julianray.bandcamp.com/album/as ... nographies
Or music/sound with fractals... not sure about the genre :)

I was very happy with this one, but 30+ views in 5 years, goes to show that finishing and publishing tracks is a lot of work for little interest :(

That's the way it is when you create something... nobody else cares about it as much as you do yourself. There's this woman on my Facebook friends list who's an artist, who does half-decent, cool-looking work but generally the same themes and style and facial features all the time. Every week she laments that nobody cares about her stuff and nobody buys anything from her, etc. To be honest, it's kind of true. I haven't yet pointed out to her that I have released approximately as many albums now as there are people who actually listen to them. :hihi:

At this point I don't know whether I make music more to have a finished product -- I do like listening to my own work, most of it anyway -- or for the actual process of creation.

TBH I never thought that you are actually making music :?

But this one is really good! Are there some other tracks by you somewhere online?

Did I say your track is good? Deep, spacey, emotional and very well produced. Excellent work :tu:
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Thanks :tu:

There are some other scattered on the Internet, but maybe having too many views in one day will break it down :hihi:

I like the name I used for this one: Telex 2 Texel

I guess you could call it sound collage - a mix of ambient, glitch, noise and field recordings.

Nice, I'm watching/listening right now -- One way to get more views is to post it on facebook and naming your facebook friends in the post so that they are automatically notified to check it -- that is, if you use facebook -- I myself am a late newcomer to fb, only decided to sign up there after noticing all my ms messanger contacts gradually stopped appearing online cause they were all using facebook instead...
Anyway, 30 something views (now 57! :-) ) in 5 years manages to break my record of lazy "marketing" -- because that's what it depends on -- the "ability", time and patience to spread it and divulge it on the net, more than the artistic effort we put on it. I'm a very lazy "marketeer" for my own music, and when I try to put some effort in trying to spread it, I always feel guilty of bothering people, even if most of them seem to not mind it and some even asked me to notify them when I post my music... Also, the time invested in divulging it's not as fun as the time invested in making it...

 i believe you're a first in using that precise expression :)

people simply have an unrealistic estimation of the value of art, because of how it is used to convey value to them.

Have you tried posting to reddit? I have found reddit probably the place that attracts the most listeners (to my soundcloud page) - although almost no-one will comment.
