Mostly Impressionist Death Ambient and Neo-ambient Death Skiffle.
An idiot on Set Theory:

Suppose i'll bite too.

Would like to think that i make all sorts of music like Ayorinde, but for some reason or another it usually ends up being dark ambient.

That is great guys. . I Like the fact that one really is free to express their own thoughts and emotions with their music.. it is quite therapeutic in a certain sense...

Wow that is quite a variety! ATN69 does your method of composition vary with every diffent genre? How do you manage such a vast variety of genres?

Mostly metal and prog of different sorts, but I also compose electronic tunes of various styles on occasion.

For me cool and good sounds give me inspiration when it comes to electronic music but for Jazz and Rock its different. Electronic music evolves as I am working with it and it is more by trial and error until I find the mood and sound I want. For Jazz and Rock I normally get a song in my head and I start by recording the basics by using piano and bass. For that genres I normally have a clear idea from the start how the song will be.

That is amazing!! It is intresting how many people produce and compose at opposite ends of the genre spectrum and have an appreciation for that!! I tend to be more midstream though.. although I am no guitarist I still appreciate any music that uses an axe in it.. I would like to expand my compositions more though into pop rock with electro elements but I dunno how to go about it.. I was also thinking of a neo 80s or neo 90s type compsitions but I get so many ideas but get totally frustrated cause I cant get what I hear in my head to materialise into a proper song.... :dog:

Usually dub reggae, with occasional odd desires to make ambient remixes of famous teenage boy bands...

Found myself making chilled out techno with a mate recently though.

I gave up on genre names, but my tracks tend to be experimental but influenced by (dark) ambient, glitch, IDM, chiptunes, jazz, powernoise, future bass, and others, even if they don't necessarily fall into one or two or three of those categories.

A few examples:

Beak Full of Teeth
Smart 97
Someday I'll Wear That Boot
Socialist Machine
Old Fortran

Thank you Guys for your input.. really intresting and varied music and inputs!! Awesome work on your compositions!
