@memyselfandus

That's partly the charm of KVR; if an ant moves somewhere on this planet, the chances are good that a KVR member will take offence at it. Subsequently lights their torch to burn the poor ant.
What I can't stand though, is the hypocritical outrage. Which goes like this: :shrug:

@chk071

Nice, you uploaded a pic of your current Führer. Big deal.

How come you don't get it @chk071 it is not hate I'm just saying upgrading the builtin instruments, PDC, pitch correction would have been great. Is that a lot to ask.

Post

There is no decent mastering suite in reason EQ, compressor what a decent place to be in.

Yes. I wouldn't call constructive criticism from musicians a negative thing. Unless the developers don't listen. Then it turns into a negative thing for the developers. The updates in version 9 are Awesome. But some of us would REALLY like to see a few things. Namely stuff that's been acknowledged a few versions ago. Like being able to put midi on a selected track. Just a few things that could have been added by now.

Post

And I'd REALLY like to be able to preview effects before loading them again.. Like I can right now in version 6.. Before upgrading.

And VST support, and all the other things their "typical users" expect for an update since years. Or do they?

So Merkel uses Reason? :o

Post

No Merkel doesn't use reason usually. ;)

Post

No... I upgraded on April 30th!!! I thought an upgrade to 8.4 was coming.

Out of the minor updates, these can in fact be quite major:
Faster flow: Bounce in place to create audio clips from your instruments. Reverse MIDI and automation with one click. Split notes with the Razor tool.

Audio to MIDI: Sing your melodies, hum your bass lines. Monophonic audio clips can now be exported to MIDI with a single click.
But did it really take nine versions to get this implemented? :D
More looks: Ever wanted to turn the lights down low in your Reason studio? Pick a visual theme that suits your mood: default, blue or dark.

Cubase is 99 euro for 7 to 8. And 49 euro for 8 tot 8.5.

Ableton is little bit more, but you get a lot of new features.

I'm excited to beta test it! :hyper:

FL Studio 10 to 11 and then 12, cost me nothing :borg:
