I love the new look, very modern and professional.
One must understand that the melda plugins are based on a modular system, that way the gui will probably always look a bit generic, compared to fully skinned one of a piece plugin guis. But then think of all the goodies we get because of that modular system!! Like everything in life there is a tradeoff. Maybe fully skinned active presets can close this gap.
Just one request: When you are at it could you have a look at the meters as well, somehow I find them hard to read compared to other companies meters. I think the problem might be that the gaps have the same thickness as the "data-bars". In most other plugins that I use and find easier to read, the data bars are much thicker than the gaps (take fabfilter pro-l for example). Maybe as an alternate look?
Cheers,

Oh... I just realized there is a dedicated thread for my request :-g
Full bars with a light opacity also look great to me, so if that is what is going to come with V11 I'll be happy!

Hehe yes, the meters will be there
. But as for the new style(s), you'll need to be a little patient here

To be honest you could even strip all the other styles, if the new one comes out, I probably wont ever use them again. Many might disagree, but keeping all those "old" styles is dead weight that has to be ported from version to version, eating up precious developement time. I'd rather see more new innovative plugins (like the MWhateverMix plugin that is in developement for a long time).
However should you ever do the step of cutting the other designs please keep the coloring options they really help to distinguish different plugin instances...

You would not, but me and probably many other still would though.Alphacodex wrote:To be honest you could even strip all the other styles, if the new one comes out, I probably wont ever use them again.
1. The old styless are done. This will not eat up development time. Moreover, if I am right, Vojtech have people for the new style(s) now, if I am right ... ?Alphacodex wrote:Many might disagree, but keeping all those "old" styles is dead weight that has to be ported from version to version, eating up precious developement time.
2. The other styles are around 13 mb in size - so it would not even save that much space either.
Just saying.

It's not about gaining choice with a new style, but about losing the choice of all-buttons, -sliders or -knobs.Svama wrote:Like I understood, different styles aren't the problem. It's more about knob, sliders and buttons.

I like, but I found some of the gradient not necessary.
