The Roland Cloud Jupiter-8 plugin has some advanced features compared to the real thing:
- Similar waveshapes in both both Oscs including Saw, variable Pulse (PWM), Triangle, Sine, Square, Noise
- Osc octaves selection down to 64' which is really low and 2 octaves lower than in the real thing
- Velocity control for filter and Amp section
- Dedicated volume/Level knobs for both Oscs (opposing to a single Osc mix knob in the real thing)
- Both positive or negative amounts for filter keytracking and envelope/LFO modulations (implemented using bipolar faders)
- effects section

Just installed the Roland cloud again after my last reply to test the synths out again and made a init bank on the JP8Ingonator wrote:The Roland Cloud Jupiter-8 plugin has some advanced features compared to the real thing:

It is been a while since i tested it i think it was the first version which had a high cpu usage and made everything unstable.
Now i actually like the JP8 and will get that one once my 12month is payed in a few months.
It is actually useable now with lot of cpu left and those effects sounds nice and the bite it gets from the distortion models are awesome
I only hope they will fix the zoom soon to since 150% gives me double vision after a while
And to answer the OP i would say get both they are worth it (Roland, Uhe Repro)
