Can these "devices" be chained within the plugin?

I ask because the term "device" is already used in DAWs like Bitwig Studio (ref: https://www.bitwig.com/en/bitwig-studio/devices.html) and Ableton Live, I think mainly for their internal instruments/effects, and often used in conjunction with the word "chain", e.g. "save the device chain".

Using this term for active presets could be confusing.

I still prefer my suggestion of "Views", as it's really just a visual view into a particular configuration of that plugin… just saying

"Preset" is also a known term in every music software.
