Where do you see that? I only see $1.049 for everything EA.

$199 would be pretty surprising considering some of the single plugins cost that much, even with 20% off.

Oops- corrected -I meant the Stereo Reverb Bundle (that was the offer in my account), not the everything bundle!

Be interesting to see if the Stereo Reverb Bundle ends up in MPS 3 and/or the Creative Bundle...I suspect it will and I will wait for that as I am still on MPB 1 and haven't been tempted to upgrade (even for 250 bucks) but I may do if they put this in as well and call it V3!

Reverb is a realy hard market now- Waves are pretty much giving away their H reverbs for 29 bucks, Breeze and Valhalla stuff is great for like 50 bucks and I have also picked up the eventide stuff for next to nothing...not to mention NI bundled verbs etc etc...

Yes, you’re right. That’s legal. A customer database could be a reason to buy a company. But in this case it is obviously the code and reverb algoritme. The quality of the reverbs are quite nice.

Has Izotope previously bought a company?

I didn't say they bought EA for its customer database. I merely pointed out that it is part of the asset.

M&A exist for cross pollination of customers and technology...iZotope Software users should only benefit from this. They used to have a post reverb in Ozone I seem to remember and they took it out!

Totally agree.
I got off the Izotope bus a long time ago because of this. They had really nice products, and instead of building upon them, and fixing existing problems, they just abandoned them. Neutron was a joke because it was basically Ozone reskinned with a bolted on "fairy-dust" feature promising to help you mix better. Total sucker marketing. That was basically the last straw for me as far as Izotope goes. I don't see their acquisition of Exponential audio as being a good thing.

I contacted Izotope support and they said, that they will stay with Ilok-only authorization for the current iteration of EA products.
For me, that's a deal breaker.

Also Izotope's general knownledge base articles do not mention that yet. They still say multi-computer activations are ok.

They have a special page for EA related questions now though, where they only mention Ilok activation:

Hopefully this means Michael gets more time to work on updates to the algorithms in plugins such as Excalibur and Izotope can provide updates to the GUI.

I think Neutron is pretty good, it was more like Alloy 2 re-skinned but ultimately one is aimed at mixing and one is aimed at mastering- two separate products, you don't have to buy both (where there is bound to be overlap!).

Congrats to Michael and Izotope. I'm a customer and fan of both.

I'm hoping for a modified preset update to EA reverbs. Current is good and flexible, but just not how I think. "Dark Wide Hall" filter should easily get me there, but I like "Lush Strings" in a folder called instruments. And folders called Rooms, Ambience, Halls, etc.

Ultimately it's the fabulous sound EA reverbs create, but as a home user a name like "fat cavern snare hit" verb helps my Nimble Nimbus brain, lol.

Hoping for the best for all.

Would be nicer if it took account of how many of those you already have though (ie I have all of them except Nimbus)
