probably the same reason as for every other modelled instrument - people are more impressed with a fancy facade than actual musicality of an instrument.

It seems to be tough to pull off and like Urs said, too much computing needed.
Breakthroughs will come along though.
Until then, I'm excited to see what aspects of this Z3 has gleaned.
