I took this picture in London. Is this the factory from the Animals cover or are there more than one of these things?

Nope, that's the one. Battersea Power Station. Nice pic.

Animals and Meddle are my two favs... with Music From The Film More coming in after that...

There is a rare track called "Biding My Time" which is one of the coolest things they ever wrote as a band!

I actually prefer Water's solo stuff though.

It's Roger actually - he did lose the legal battle - court ruled the songs he wrote while in the band - remain the property fo the band...

He released a number of solo albums (Pros + Cons, Amused To Death, Radio KAOS, etc.) and is currently working on an opera - a real opera - not rock opera - called "Ca Ira" - from what has been leeked of it already - it is going to rawk \m/

It was a strange decision (without having read much of the decision) but I thought that the music which he was solely attributed to writing, rather than "Pink Floyd", he was still allowed to perform, eg The Wall and The Final Cut. Can anyone confirm this?

I saw the Radio KAOS live show back in '87; great mix of multimedia elements (news tickers, dj phone-ins, ruddy-great screen...) Genuinely thrilling in places (the blackout just before 'tide is turning')

Saw Floyd a couple of months later and I can honestly say (just an opinion not trying to be inflammatory :)) it was one of the most boring, over-produced shows I've ever seen. The only song that cut through the schlock was 'wish you were here', made wembley stadium (don't remind me...) seem like a little backroom somewhere.

Roger didnt loose the court, they settled.

RW got the Wall (and the final cut), they got the rest.
But only when it comes to playing the songs live.

Roger Waters still gets the biggest amount of royalties.

On a side note, Roger Waters did something like 99% of the Final Cut alone. Although David Gilmore is credited on the cover he only sang chorus on "Not now John".
Not a single guitar note on that album is played by Gilmore.

"The final cut" is my all time favorite Pink Floyd album, followed closely by "The Wall".
