I'll try this. I used to run Reverberate ages ago!

There's no way to compare them, I believe, they do different things and are based on different concepts. Unfilter is a separate tool, Intensity might remind you of Gullfoss sometimes, but working with Gullfoss gives you 1) more control, 2) better visual feedback (actually ANY visual feedback), 3) better results.Calenberger wrote: Mon May 18, 2020 6:43 am Has someone compared Gullfoss with Zynaptiq Intensity or Unfilter?

It's pretty much the only reverb besides Voxengo CRTIV Reverb 2 i've ever put on a channel and gone WTF and been reluctant to change anything. Even default 100% wet with one of the densest plates it's gobsmackingly beautiful. This reverb has so much character and feels so alive. Arturia, Waves and even Soundtoys plate plugins sound weak and pale in comparison.Foliasound wrote: Tue May 19, 2020 11:12 pmI'll try this. I used to run Reverberate ages ago!
Sorry to hype Lustrous Plates but it's so so good.

Waves plugins, erm, I'm not a great fan of them, sorry to say!
I'll try Lustrous Plates for sure, thought I'm heavily addicted to UAD stuff, which is absolutely stellar when speaking about reverbs, just to warn you!

Unsurprisingly, mine have changed since I replied. I will do a new list later.Biome_Digital wrote: Sun May 17, 2020 7:24 am Fabfilter, neutron, and ozone mainly. The less the better.

My current shortcut mix folder has:
CraveEQ 2
Soothe2
Pantastic
That's my first-stop for everything.
Can't decide on FX. Reverbs for example... Pro-R, Blackhole and Lustrous Plates get the most use. Compressors... Voxengo. Sprinke Acustica Audio stuff throughout if my CPU lets me.
Master bus: Sonarworks Reference 4 Headphones, ISOL8, Spectrend, TEOTE, Bassroom, Reference, Spectre... and various Acustica (Taupe Tape). The mastering engineer can do compression and limiting.
