Hey, people, I finally found some time and recorded the 2nd part of the vid about my "GO TO" PLUGINS. I'm not hoping for thousands of views frankly, I just really felt like doing this and discuss things with you. I have some questions to ask, the vids I'm talking about are here:

I've divided plugins into 10 categories, you might have your own, but my question is: what are YOUR tools that you use most when tracking, mixing and mastering? I'm really interested in comparing my list to other lists, as I'm always rearching for new solutions and improvements. Quite limited on the COVID budget right now, but let's dream on and wait for another shopping turn ;)

Have a great day!

First off...I work solo in the box.
I use stock Reaper plugins to track if needed. Although Waves Omni channel is filling those duties now.

Mixing I like...
Waves SSL G
Waves Omni
TDR slick EQ ge
Audio Damage Rough Rider comp
Klanghelm Mjuc and Dc8c
Toneboosters reelbus
Tal dub x delay
Valhalla Room

Master.....
TDR slick eg M ge
TDR limiter 6
Voxengo span.

Toneboosters Morphit and Isone are always on the master out because I use headphones.

I love Airwindows stuff as a change up.
We jumped the fence because it was a fence not be cause the grass was greener.

Maybe we can start a two-person groupbuy?

Yeah bro. I have my "wishlist" in a notebook right in front of me and it has exactly those plugins on the list. I'm wondering about Soothe vs DSEQ but need to demo - I have neither.

PS your band sounds cool :)

I always use same plugins for mixing and mastering ;)

That's mostly Izotope Ozone bundle, recently with Neutron. EQ, Dynamics, Imager, Dynamic EQ and Exciter are the ones I use every day.
Other tools include VolumeShaper from Cableguys as well as ordinary Ableton Saturator stacked in a rack.

For monitoring can't live without iZotope Tonal Balance and Signalizer.

Complete list is here: https://djwarmonger.wordpress.com/about/studio-setup/

I keep it fit on one page inside Ableton browser.

So bored with this kind of video. Do you even care what my go-to's are?

Ozone 9.
Tonal Balance 2.

it totally depends on the project i am working on.
so never a standard choice.
and enough tools... (for mxing an sich, meldaproduction plugins, for dynamic eq'ing, for instance. but also others. and of course spectralayers pro 6)

for mastering wavelab pro 10, t-racks 5 (40 plugins) and sometimes other plugins. but i master in the mix, i most of the time only use stealth limiter, or the LUFS option in wavelab pro 10, when a limiter isn't needed.
i master mainly for online. and it is enough also for a high end installation. i like some dynamic range, and you have a volume knob...

I can't remember who recommended it on here in a similar thread a year or so ago, but Direct Approach Spectrend has been an immense help for me in upping my mixing game, along with Mastering The Mix Levels and Reference. For someone who relies on headphones, these help me get somewhere in the ballpark of not completely sucking. Aside from that, Ozone 6 for adding final spit and polish.
