IK announces UNO Synth Pro

Cool! Any idea when shipments will start? I've got two weeks off in the middle of March, it would be nice to have a new toy to play with.

Pre-orders are likely to arrive late Q1 so it might be a little after those two weeks. I'll go tell them to rush a unit for BONES, wait that's not a great idea either. I'm pretty sure rushing some units would make people happy briefly but sad quickly. Like crack or something.

But more seriously, I'll do my best to get a more solid timeframe for commitment to shipping and having to pre-orderers as well as on dealer shelves/sites.

I'll go deeper to find out when we expect units to be completed. While we're making them in Italy, we do have to work with others and like any hardware in general there are always some "variables" but we are close enough to get more solid an idea.

OK, I have officially cancelled my holidays. I am going to put them back to the end of April, after school holidays. Hopefully I'll have my Uno Pro by then (fingers crossed).

I don't see that being a problem at all, you should have yours before that time.

Well now that this Pro version is out, will you still offer support (preset packs, firmware updates, etc) for the original Uno?
Any plans for different synths in the original Uno format to be relased in the (near) future? Just curious...

It's clearly a different line, no reason they will stop manufacturing the original. Toyota don't stop making Yaris when they release a new Corolla, do they?

I'm not asking if the "Yaris" will still be manufactured (since I've already got one) - I'm asking if the "Yaris" will still get full support and updates & whether there will also be an "Aygo" in the near future to complete the budget synth line.
