Doubtful, looks like it has a tickbox for upward, so unlikely to do downward and upward at the same time with individual controls, so you will need two instances.
Just checked a video posted here. It can do OTT.

It can, but not as Over The Top.
However, WAY more flexible.

MBC v1.1.0 just out:-

- New functionality: Per-band compressor drive control
- New functionality: Per-band positive and negative band linking control; negative values will use other bands instead of the target band
- UI / workflow improvements: Improved highlighting of the selected band
- UI / workflow improvements: New option to drag all make-up or threshold sliders up and down simultaneously across bands
- UI / workflow improvements: New option to change compression ratio by using mousewheel when hovering threshold sliders
- DSP improvements: Improved support for non-conventional audio sampling rates
- DSP improvements: Reduced latency in non-oversampling modes
- DSP improvements: Resolved a bug that could lead to a stereo image shift for saturation in one-band mode
- DSP improvements: Implemented work-around to prevent Bitwig to crash when changing (latency) settings in VST3
- Additional (new) presets

All good - and getting better... I can't hold out much longer now... :)

PS:- FEATURE REQUEST; I'd love it if the MBC 'Orange' skin/theme could match the EQ4 'Orange' more closely - the dark background would be much nicer in the main MBC display (for me.!).

Here's how (currently) the 'Orange' theme looks in both...

Great update already. One request. Would love to see the presets changeable by arrows left and right like in Equaliser. reel buss etc. The box that pops up in MBC covers most of the settings and is extra clicks.

I would love a higher higher quality mode so we don’t hear those phase artifacts... :?
Even in HQ mode, it’s still far from perfect, and CPU impact is still very low.

The HQ mode is not there for reducing phase artifacts (which is not really possible anyway with minimum phase filters as used by MBC), it is for reducing aliasing artifacts. In fact, as far as I could analyze it, the HQ mode introduces more phase shift, as the oversampling filter seems to be minimum phase too (which is a bit unusual).
The alternative would be linear phase crossovers, which of course have other disadvantages…

Between bands ? Oh, I need to try it again, that’s not what I’ve heard... Maybe I was drunk.

If you cannot remember, you probably were :D
No, the phase shift from the oversampling filter is of course around the cutoff frequency, in this case 20KHz. Starts a bit lower, though.

What did you hear anyway? I did some testing with drum overheads, electric bass and acoustic guitar with some bands in MBC, but no compression. On bass and guitar I though I heard a bit of difference (although the bypass switch produced a little extra noise, so that could be an influence), but nothing dramatic or sound destroying. But then my ears in general don’t seem to be overly sensitive to phase issues/group delay…

Easy to prove by dry/wet. I’ll try.

I wish it could do gate/expansion curves in a future update.
I also wish for linear phase filters option and more filters slopes (48, 96, etc),
being able to switch to oscilloscope view per band would be a blast.

And then I could ditch IL Maximus once and for all (with no more vst updates and small GUI) and avoid to buy MMultiBandDynamics someday...

I bought it and it is already a great plugin !

These kinds of things probably aren't out of the question. TB tends to implement new features for existing plugins as time goes on. He's also pretty active on Facebook and this forum. Decent chance he's reading this. :D

Yeah, Delft Orange was my idea. I suggested that we have something that was basically Delft Blue but with dark orange accents. Then I looked up what the word "Delft" meant and now I feel like a total dumbass. Maybe Jeroen kept the name to make fun of my ignorance?

Hoping the Delft orange makes it into the other plugins. The blue version is great, but i like the orange even more :). Nice suggestion.

Jeroen is arguably the most responsive dev i have ever had the pleasure chatting with. Just another reason to love Toneboosters.
