I don't tend to mix in Cubase's mixer, I automate from VE Pro so most plugins I'll use live there. So I'm not all that curious about the stock FX.
If you’re primarily mixing in VE Pro and have reliable presets in Vienna Suite Pro, it makes sense to bypass Cubase’s native FX. Frequency is already a powerful EQ, and Magneto provides solid saturation. Unless there’s a workflow-specific reason to switch, your current setup sounds optimal.
