Nice gesture either way.
Ohmicide has a history of crashing ( just searchthe web )
Also happens in renoise etc..most often a gui error that causes the crashing
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Aha, alright. Thanks for the heads up, good to know. I've looked it up a couple places to see if there's any strategy around it. Oh well guess I can just print things if I use w/ Ohmicide. Their phaser is nice, good to add that to the arsenal. It's good I never ended up buying Ohmicide, came close a few times.

Not only the phaser is great
Hematohm , frequecy shifter +delay line ( freq.sh. can be put in the feedback loop if wanted )
Predatohm : multiband distortion , only downside is that it isn’t true stereo .
Ohmboyz , still a great plugin , try modulating the delay line for, pitch shift effects etc…
Quadfrohmage , not the greatest filter emulations but still capable of serious mangling , modulate the input delay slider for each filter :tu:

What's the difference between predatohm and homicide? Is it just gui?

Yeah ohmboyz is one of my main delays for awhile now. Predatohm I've had for years but don't use, hematohm is great, it gets occasional use.

Ohmboyz infinity I've managed to install the last version that worked plus get all the newer presets for so that's like an amazing fx unit, it can do crazy stuff and sounds good. Too bad the last couple updates don't work on my system.

One's a multiband distortion plugin for mangling instruments, the other gets you life imprisonment or possibly even executed depending on where you live.

Haematohm is very much an acquired taste for strong frequency pitching but I always loved it's really small true sweet spot - just a tiny little frequency shift in the feedback of loads of very short delay and it sounds like an Eventide multivoice pitch-shifter/chorus type thing, superb for vocals. It can make a single voice sound like a choir. It quickly degenerates into madness when you tweak it, but it sounds glorious if you get it right. Really missed that- now got it back again. :hyper: . I bought it back in the day for those bargain ten pound deals but it was money well spent even just for one particular sound

I've owned the All All bundle forever, seriously disappointed in this company. They went from being super diligent in updating and keeping their plugins working, to abandonware.

I always wished they would get their GUIs straight more than anything else, all kinds of good ideas made more difficult than they should be by not one, but usually two awkward GUIs.

It's an amazing scenario. Ohmforce were near the top of the stack in the VST effects world for a time. Then they went down the collaborative DAW spiral and seemingly lost interest in their VST lineup and left them to rot on the vine.

The 2018 reboot was a bit odd since they only updated 2 out of the many plugins they had. It's interesting how a group can toil to create a brand of products then slam dunk that brand into the dumpster. Stairs up, Elevator down.

Yeah, they really went to shit after they pooled all their resources into that DAW collab thing. It's pretty disappointing how it all turned out as if they never wasted resources on that i could only see their plugins becoming more and more interesting

In regards to Predatohm. It uses a different crossover type(inversion type versus minimum phase of Ohmicide), it's isn't proper stereo, the compress/expand thing sounds a little different, but other than that, a lot of the algorithms sound mostly the same as the regular setting(not XXX, or Odd) option in Ohmicide if you use a single band. Ohmicide of course also has the post delay feedback thing per band too, and the Melohman preset morph stuff. I never got that to work though in the 64bit version. It would always crash

Yep. I just downloaded Ohmicide moments ago and promptly experienced a crash in Cubase 12. And since there isn't any support, it's dead Jim.

If anyone is on BigSur and has UI issues with Ohmicide, I've made a Bitwig preset with all the controls mapped to native BW modulators. Added some macro controls to change parameters for all bands where it made sense (at least to me :P ). Enjoy!

Does anyone know what happened with the people behind Ohm? Did they start new companies or did they start working for other developers?
J60 Heatwave for Omnisphere 3 - Juno-60 Inspired soundbank
HARDWARE SAMPLER FANATIC - Akai S1100/S950/Z8 - Casio FZ20m - Emu Emax I - Ensoniq ASR10/EPS

Hopefully they found new Ohms elsewhere and are not Ohmless
