Will the new plugin manager allow to install the plugins in portable mode, that is in a specific folder instead of spreading files on a lot of Windows folders?

Thanks,
Mario

now, that v17 is on final on the website, is there a plan for the offline installer?

Thanks

Serial or keyfile copy protection that doesn't call home, doesn't tie itself to anything (ie computer), and doesn't require any connection to the company after the purchase is made when needing to reinstall the software.

I can not use MPluginManager as it does not let me install v17 without uninstalling 32bit v15 plugins that I might use in older sessions. Can you fix that, please?

Absolutely crucial to have an alternative, offline installer, like it used to be. It's one of those things, along with unobtrusive copy protection, that make Melda, Melda.

So, we've been waiting for over a month now for it to emerge...

The offline installer is already there - use the standard installer to create a version for installation offline...

Good eye! Thanks for spreading awareness, especially when the devs delivered on a request.

I updated to Ver 17 just now and it looks like many of the plug-ins lack the skeuomorphic UI of various reverb, delay and compressor models. For example, the 1176 UI that looks more like an 1176. Is this an intended permanent change? Or did something happen in the upgrade process to remove relevant graphics files or something? Please advise.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The new offline installation looks like a complication of something that was really easy.

I really hope Melda will provide us an alternative way, like it was before that change

Keep it simple, is a kind of rule if you want something to work at the best

I on windows 11 with reaper and still have the guis for 1176, etc.

Post

Weird. I'm on a Mac running Ventura. I've looked at the plug-ins in Reaper (VST3), Rogue Amoeba Soundsource (which allows access to AU versions of the plugins), GarageBand (AU), and Ableton Live Lite 11 (VST 3). None of them have the GUIs for 1176, etc.

I wonder if some graphics files got deleted in the upgrade or something?

Post

Did a repair install and now I have the GUIs again.
