I might submit a track for the first time this month, I am not sure yet, though.
Ín any case: Thanks a lot to set up this challenge with a synth that at first sight was a bit confusing for me. You did trigger my curiosity and stubborness, though, to successfully claw my way into that Six Traq interface.
On stability:
I used Six Traq in Ableton 12.1 Beta (Windows 11) and it crashed twice when I tried to duplicate a track containing the vst3 version. Could also have been an issue due to the newest Beta Build of Ableton, though. I lost three hours of work, stupid me did not save often enough. But I did get it to make sounds that I liked

Sweet! Seems like the CLAP version causes less troubles on my system. I've made a quick little test...

I think it going to be huge ... as some might say ... again nothing special ...but just "in your face V2"
So here's a 2nd preview.

So v1.0.2A is working for you now?

Yes it does.
And as I mentioned earlier: The new version was able to load my "old" project correctly with all patches in place! Your little "verhüterlis" saved my day! Thanks!

After some tests I included the changes for the CLAP v1.0.2A version into the new version 1.0.3 for all plugin formats (VST2/VST3/AU/AAX/CLAP).
Let me know if it works for you!

Awesome, Björn!
I've just now realized that one can switch "Parameters" from "Six Traq" to "Extended". Tsssss... wonder what else I'll have to find.
Somehow I still can't quite wrap my head around the stacking thing, as the manual seems to suggest that one could polyphonically play stacked instruments, but I somehow couldn't get that to happen, yet.

Click the white box to the left of a Patch Name on the Config tab. It cycles through "P", "L", " "... P for poylphonic it is I think.Taron wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2024 5:50 pm Awesome, Björn!

Just checking back in to say that the VST3 version is working well for me in Win10/Bitwig in case anyone is still having issues with the CLAP version.robelanator wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2024 11:06 am I also was… surprised… when I opened my Bitwig project to find all of settings unsaved. Latest Bitwig on Windows 10 with CLAP plugin.
Thankfully, decades of getting screwed by Microsoft Office crashes has made me a “save everything always” paranoid so I had saved my presets AND the bank using the plugin interface. It’s still annoying having to reload the bank in every plugin instance when reopening the project though.
I’ll try the VST3 version tonight to see if that’s a workaround.

Holy smokes, the stacking is fun! Very, very good sounding stuff. Seems like the polyphony can still have the issue of loosing a voice-slot, but it's just when one dials around during playing, assuming the envelope routine can get tripped up, I think. But other than that it's pretty awesome now.
What beautiful strings one can make this way. Just excellent!

Hey @Bjoern,
though the 1.0.3 seems to work better in terms of saving/loading projects, I observed something that is a little puzzling in Bitwig 5.2.4.
As soon as I start the playback the "automation arrow get's green". The green arrow means - sorry german - "Automations wiederherstellen". It normally only get's green when bitwig does not follow automation lanes due to user interaction... But I only have a single automation lane for midi pitch. Nothing else.
Before playback
Immediately after hiting play Even more troubling/weird ... Bitwigs "Undo" Icon constantly reports new "Undo Six Traq change", though I only hit "play". Somehow Bitwig in combination with SixTraq creates undoable state changes during playback. I experienced two symptoms:
1.) If I only start playback with bitwigs undo buffer empty and the green arrow reset to follow automation, then the green arrow appears again AND an a number of undo action is reported... Which by the way renders ctrl-z unusable. As many undoable actions seem to pile up in the background.
2.) Whenever I start playback the "project has changed indicator" shows that the project has changed.
I'm just guessing why this hapens: I have added a few Bitwig LFO modulators to the project wich modulate parameters of some SixTraq Instances. In general Bitwig/Clap modulators are "none destructive". They should NOT change the state of the project file. And with other CLAP plugins, I have never had the same symptoms.
All that is really puzzling. And as I have said, it's the first time I have had these symptoms with CLAP plugins. Don't want to say other CLAP plugins are free of weird stuff...
