Dunno off hand why that would be, but good to know. Glad you got it working though!

No issues on macOS or Apple TV here, and I am loving the new Pro OTB purchasing strategy. Great work!

I mostly use Wotja on macOS with various synth plugins. I do wish the macOS version could support VST3, but I absolutely understand the reasoning as described in the help section / FAQ. I also know I could always use an AU/VST3 bridge if I really needed to.

Hi Folks.

Wotja 26.1.0 is now available, and it is a free update.

This is a major update with New Features, Improvements and fixes etc. See our 26.1.0 Press Release for the big picture: https://wotja.com/news/press/260309-Wot ... -MIDI.html

In that we talk about how we have added support for creating minified Wotja Mixes that can be shared as URLs, yes, URLs! It's easy to create and share these, too. See our FAQ items on sharing, which give the low down: https://wotja.com/help/#sharing.

As to what's in the release, please see the key things below. If you want the full list then please see it on our Releases page: https://wotja.com/releases/#w26-1-0.

We hope you enjoy using Wotja 26!

Best wishes from Tim and Pete.

Feature request: Using the latest macOS version, would it be possible to enable an option to record beyond 3600 seconds or 1000 bars? Perhaps as an advanced or experimental toggle. I understand reasons for putting in a limit like this to begin with, but it would be nice to attempt to create longer recordings.

My use case is generating background music for multi-hour dashcam videos (some as long as 12 hours). I know that I could just loop the files, and of course after an entire hour of background music, it is unlikely anyone would even notice the loop, I was just curious if could be a possibility in an update.

Possible bug: Using the latest macOS version, after opening Wotja for the first time and going to the plugin section, it takes a very long time to bring up the Browse Plugins window. On a M4 Max CPU with 64GB RAM, it takes about 30 seconds for the list to start to populate (I get the spinning beach ball until then), then it takes another 3 minutes before I can scroll the plugin list. I have around 200 plugins installed (this is KVR, after all ). The entire Wotja program freezes with the spinning beach ball during this time. I am unsure if it's a specific plugin causing this issue or not (I don't have this type of issue in any other program that uses AU plugins).

My workaround was to create a template with a plugin wrapper (Modalics Plugin Buddy) already inserted into the Instrument slots.

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, we already have this in the backlog of things to possibly do as and when we have the time.

Well, that is a bit annoying, and on a fast machine too. The plug-in query is run in the background, using macOS services; so I'm not really sure what to suggest. Naturally enough, if I can see this on my test device when I next try, I'll be sure to follow-up.

I hope you're enjoying Wotja 26! It is very much a labour of love.

Best wishes,

Pete
