No, it sounds pretty cool. I want to check out SQ4. Does it run as a VSTi or only as a hostess?

If you all used my colourscheme you wouldn't have anything to complain about.

Unfortunately only as a host. I'm thrilled to find it - I switched from Mac a few months ago, and the program that I miss the most from there is Numerology. This is the closest that I've found. In some ways I like it better. In some ways it isn't as good. But I haven't come close to exploring all of it.

There is a demo. Definitely check it out. As I recall it's fully functional except for the ability to save.

Also - the documentation is pretty poor...there is still some stuff that I need to figure out on which the manual is wayyyyy to brief.

Oh, dear. You have to read the manual?!!! That's why I love T. Never needed a manual. It just worked like it looked like it would. But, sadly, the Midi is still pretty weak when you need to go deep...

Will check out the demo for SQ4. Thanks.

I don't think that it's an essential design flaw of a product that it may require a manual to get the most out of it. The idea is to be intuitive enough that you need one as little as possible. I think that SQ4 is pretty intuitively laid out, but some of the features get a bit complicated, and I'm not quite sure what they do yet. Is a manual required? Probably not - I think that I can figure them out - but sometimes having a manual saves you some time.

Sometimes I have had exactly the same thought.
Have you seen the Emporor's new clothes? They're lovely!
I like them too, is something wrong?

Tracktion2 would be the world's best audio host if it would be delivered in a reasonable time. :x

I ordered the box many weeks ago when it was released, and is was delivered by the Swiss distributor only TODAY. What's going on with Mackie's international distribution network?

Man... all the waiting. Really frustrating. :x

I paid CHF 312.- for it, which would be US$ 243.-

I'm outta here.

If IT didn't leave so much "CRAP" behind (after closing) - temp files that Traction doesn't delete on exit... This is just STUPID "bloatware" crap and massive oversight by developers... Incredibly this issue wasn't corrected from T1!!! Common ... can You fix it PLEASE!!!

so you dont like your tracktion training wheels??

So once you got that 10 speed, did you keep going back over and over and over and over to the bike shop to tell them why bikes shouldnt have training wheels. Or did you actually ride the 10 speed.

The Tracktion forum would be the best forum if .......

everybody who threatened to leave did so and enjoyed making music instead of coming back here to bitch and troll. That would leave the forum full of people who genuinely want to help but understand that theres only so much you can do about the development. So instead of trolling they concentrate on using the app for its original intention.

i'm still using it, and (even if it looks sometimes this way) i'm not here to bitch and i help others if i can help. but mackie doesn't help me removing the trainingwheels to make tracktion a racing bicycle. tracktion is sooo good at the beginning, but it laks some simple stuff. wouldn't you go back to the bicycle shop and tell them : "hey, if i have known, these training wheels won't be removed by you, i woudnt have bought it so go remove them" and they say, yes, we will remove them soon. i'm sure you will get back often to ask again : "what's up, something new ?" so moaning about people like me is the same that i do when i moan about mackie !!
