Is that LA-2A upgrade to Essentials exclusive to Plugin Boutique?

I would prefer another vendor as Plugin Boutique automatically add 15% on the price (known affectionately here in New Zealand as the 'Amazon Tax'). Yes, literally border import duties on 1's and 0's - surprised there's no freight and handling charges

No other plugin retailer does it except Plugin Boutique.

Maybe you can get IK Tape 80 for free.

FWIW I found the install very easy. UA Connect is there in the background, as far as I can tell consumes very little resources. C'est la vie - this all feels a little hysterical to me.

EDIT - also set it to not auto-start, so it's only there if you use it.

Oh yeah the UA Connect goes to Windows autostart. This is a step that should be asked from end user "do you want to start xyz when OS starts?" Not putting automatically it there. Jeez.

Waiting for support to get back whats wrong with the installer downloading the plugin.

Someone else mentioned that they deleted UA Connect.

I don’t believe there’s any reason to keep UA Connect installed especially if it’s just the one plugin.

On the UAD forum, they mentioned they removed dynamic discounts because the discounted bundle price is super low. You would end up with duplicate licenses.

I’m assuming you could resell those??? I don’t know how that would work.

UAD still worth it?
