The Spring Reverb used to be widely used by big name engineers. The trick is to use it as a mono reverb on the track's insert, not as an aux send. Basically, use it to give resonance to the instrument, so that it sounds like it's a part of the instrument, but not for creating ambience.MogwaiBoy wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:22 pm I heard the spring reverb is craptastic, though - the delay is just passable... But I will probably get the Acoustic Feedback as I've been waiting for a sale and this is the cheapest it's ever been.

Hi Uncle E. If I buy the Mix and Master Bundle Crossgrade, Will I receive a single code or are the licenses sent separately? I didn't understand that. I'm tempted to buy this packUncle E wrote: Sun Jan 23, 2022 7:45 pmI apologize for the trouble. I will ask iZotope about it.ThSProd wrote: Sun Jan 23, 2022 7:11 pm Hi to all, I just purchased the iZotope Mix and Master Bundle Advanced Crossgrade through JRR. I received the single license for Ozone 9 Advanced, Nectar 3 Plus, Neutron 3 Advanced and Neoverb.

I think it's both. It's a bit confusing. We will send you a single code and my understanding is that you'll then receive all the separate codes when you register.maldomusica wrote: Tue Feb 08, 2022 5:10 am Hi Uncle E. That's a shame - but thank you for the warning. Maybe I will save my money and not get it.cprompt wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 10:27 pmI was somewhat underwhelmed by the Acoustic Feedback. I guess I wanted something that sounded like... feedback, like you'd get if you were playing at high volume. But although when it worked it sounded good, it never sounded natural - the pitch of the feedback would sometimes change suddenly, and other times it would be really hard to get the feedback to kick in at all. Even for $10 it annoyed me too much for me to want to use it. Ultimately, it felt gimmicky which might suit some people, but not me.MogwaiBoy wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:22 pmBut I will probably get the Acoustic Feedback as I've been waiting for a sale and this is the cheapest it's ever been.
I guess I can automate sharp single peaks with an EQ at the right frequencies and create my own feedback.
There is a Blue Cat one (feedback emulator) that is apparently miles better than the old Softubey.

I in contrary, long time follow Springs. Usually it about 40 at sales, that was a much for me since have PSP SpringBox.MogwaiBoy wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 9:22 pmI heard the spring reverb is craptastic, though - the delay is just passable... Just, tried once near almost all spring reverbs in soft (2-3 year ago), so to my ear more clean\natural "clang" was in PSP SpringBox and Softube Springs.
Next, good clang too, but with degree to dark tone + creativity it's Twangstrom and Audiothing Springs.
And least clang-relate finding, rather actually just an interesting reverb, but with spring tag was Aegean Spirit.
The rest, in my opinion, could be safely skipped.
What regards opinions about Softube Springs sound, I had noticed can quie vary, but more often i seen people praise (with what i agree).
What regards Feedback (and Tube Delay) - trialed it yesterday too.
I'm not familiar with natural guitar feedback, but it seemed to me that the plugin behavior is actually strange / specific, somewhat reminiscent of the synthesis of a sinusoid based on the incoming tone, with a synthetic but at the same time quite pseudo-random (alive) character, that can be fun a bit for experiments.
Tube delay seemed interesting for its tonal variability, a really wide range, and depending by the in\out levels (additional panels). Maybe this is Softube's strong point, making simple things difficult. I can't say for sure, didn't have Softube majors before.
Summarizing, both plugs are enoughly good (not boring), with their own character. Imo 10 each quite worth.

Deal was removed. Most likely Sample Logic complained and they pulled it.paolostylo wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 6:25 amcclarry wrote: Tue Feb 08, 2022 4:27 pmNow $34.99 at APD! Yeah - and in addition, APD base price for the product is $ 348,99, whereas SL real base price is $ 299,99.cclarry wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 11:34 amDeal was removed. In this way, even the high APD rewards saldo doesn’t necessarely give as low as the SL sale price $ 49,99.

$349.99 is the full price at APD. The Base Price is $34.99, which is $15 cheaper than the current Sample Logic sale price. I'm sure Sample Logic didn't want them stepping on their current sale, so asked them to pull the product until the sale is over.Harry_HH wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:11 pmYeah - and in addition, APD base price for the product is $ 348,99, whereas SL real base price is $ 299,99.cclarry wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 11:34 amDeal was removed. There was also a mail from sample logic themselves, in that one they said they were discontinuing it and there were only 173 licenses left. So maybe they really did ‘run out’…
