Thats totally wrong. Please don't spread rumors you can't prove.wangeroge wrote: Sat Feb 19, 2022 8:13 pm Looks like the Voxengo guy didn't have any server backups. The GUIs always looked unprofessional, but this is on another level.

Any generic coupon codes for Native Instruments? Probably not but thought I'd ask anyway.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Here is the proof:

See? The GUI is unprofessional.
Also the webserver can't be reached for days. The programmer said on KVR that he has backups of the source code and still owns the name. That sounds to me like there are no backups of the server.

If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

I don’t know if that GUI is ugly or not, but I feel like I could milk it.

What makes the Voxengo GUI unprofessional in your opinion? Not skeumorphic enough for you? If Voxengo GUIs are unprofessional what do you say about Airwindows?
The generally accepted definition of professional is makes money at a task, as opposed to amateur or hobbyist. I am fairly confident that Voxengo (and Airwindows) is professional by that definition.
Also, the Voxengo GUIs are fully skinnable, so your critique is a bit misguided.

Sorry, I didn't want to offend the fanboys. Of course it's subjective, but the colors make my my eyes bleed.

No fanboy here, nor was I particularly offended. I was genuinely curious if you had any substance to back up your unprofessional comment, but clearly not. Rather lightweight I'd say.

The UI, specifically the colours and the knobs, are completely customisable, so I'm sure you could find colours that are easier on your eyeswangeroge wrote: Sat Feb 19, 2022 11:52 pm Sorry, I didn't want to offend the fanboys. Of course it's subjective, but the colors make my my eyes bleed.![]()

Voxengo has had a no-frills attitude towards GUI's for 20 years. It hasn't stopped him from making excellent plugins. I believe he's still a one man operation, perhaps that wouldn't be possible any other way.

I actually kinda dig the look of that plugin. It's a little cheap-n-cheerful, but it's clearly laid out and you can tell at a glance what everything is set to.
The website situation is a bit grim though. I can tell you from experience that the skills to make good programs and the skills to keep a website alive and consistently available are not as similar as you might think. He probably should have contracted out for at least some of that.

I like the Voxengo GUIs. Controls logically grouped into sections, values easy to read and edit, colors can be tweaked if desired.
I hope the technical situation gets cleared up soon.

The Voxengo gui's don't really differ that much from Avid's Venue/Profile interface, which stems back from ProTools designing. Are you saying Avid are unprofessional also?
