Keep your eyes peeled for a new upcoming bank for Oatmeal. There hasn't been any presets that made full use of the unison component, so consider this a first.

hey malice. thanks man. means quite a lot to me considering how many other great skins there are. but i cant take all the credit, in fact, i think you yourself had a big hand in the design by committee way (thread) it was designedMaliceX wrote:Thanks. I've still found grymm's skin to be the easiest to read out of all skins made so far.

it's a great synth man that unison is f**king huge. i can get some BIG thor-like sounds out of oatmeal now.

How do you skin oatmeal? Is it simply a matter of replacing the .png files with your own? I'm particularly interested in changing the element placement.

Open the skin folder and you should have file with the .oms ending.
Open these files in notepad or a similar app and edit away, the png's are stored in a separate folder in the skin directory.
I don't know about the other skins .oms file but in my file I have made and named every section so the right knobs should be very easy to find.
I love the system Fuzzpils uses for the skinning because you don't need to rely on the dev to skin the plug. Anyway, it's fairly basic to skin Oatmeal.

Just trying out the synth, marvellous sound.
Sorry if this was asked before, but... is there a bug in Oatmeal? I want to assign only aftertouch to oscillator pitch, but it assigns both velocity and aftertouch there! (tpitch parameter)
How can I get only aftertouch to modulate something, without velocity interfering?
I'm using 38-1, of course.
